Chapter 2 - Rooftop

Mitzu's POV

My...my boyfriend is here?!?!

"I've been waiting for you...", he stares at me with hunger.  

I know for sure that he misses me a lot. I can read it through his eyes. His eyes says it all that he's been waiting for this moment to come.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know you're here.",
I head towards him and embrace him into a warm hug.

He also return my embrace towards him with a surprise kiss on my lips for a minute.

"I've miss you so much!", he finally stepped away from me and stood apart.  

"Me too!"

"You're as cute as always.", he squint his eyes at me while he gently pinch my cheek as he teased me.

"S-shut up!", I look away so he can't see my rosy cheeks.

"Anyways, how was your summer break?", he asked me.

"I read in advance at home everyday.'', I replied.

"You sure are diligent when it comes to studying."

"You know me... how about you?", I asked him back.

"Me?", he leaned his arms on the fence of the school rooftop while looking from afar.

"Well, I helped my family do chores at home everyday and we enjoy our bonding as a family together in Tashirojima.''

"What kind of place is Tashirojima?"

"You didn't know? Tashirojima is a small island in Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. It lies in the Pacific Ocean off the Oshika Peninsula, to the west of Ajishima. It is an inhabited island, although the population is quite small. It's pretty popular place among cat lovers.", he explained it clearly to me.

"I'm sorry but I'm not a fan of cats. That's why I don't know anything about that small island. I told you about this before, right?"

"Oh right! Sorry, I forgot that you're allergic to cats fur."

My boyfriend and his family are cat lover. Meanwhile, I stay away from furry animals as possible as I could so I won't sneeze continuously.

As we're on the school rooftop, we tried to catch up on our past events of our lives.
