NINE

I've never been to outer space
it doesn't sound like fun
it's much too lonely in that place
much too boring without someone

but, you, I think would like it
it's empty and quite bare
so I think your ego would fit
and you'd be in charge up there

sound in space is nonexistent
so you'd never hear my voice
not even from a distance
you'd probably rejoice

because in space you'd be far from me
as far as you could get
and you'd finally be free
and able to forget
