Eren was confused. Actually scratch that, beyond confused.

He had no idea why Levi was hugging him. He thought Levi hated him. After Petra left, complete and utter chaos happened, but it happened silently.

It was quiet. He could feel Levi's breath on his neck. And Eren could also practically feel the rage coming off of Mikasa.

"Levi! What the hell do you think you're doing?!" Mikasa said with rage evident in her voice.

Levi looked over to Mikasa with narrowed eyes and replied sassily.

"What does it look like I'm doing? Obviously I'm hugging Eren, Mikasa." Levi then furrowed his face back into Eren's neck.

After that sentence, it went quiet again. There was an intense stare down between the two Ackermans.

Truth be honest, Eren didn't know what to do. He definitely didn't want to interfere with the two's stare down. That would be a mess.

Mikasa went to grab for Levi's arm but ended up failing when he moved it so Eren and him would be closer.

"Levi." Mikasa said to her brother in a warning tone.

Eren then furrowed his brows in frustration because he didn't know what the hell was going on.

Mikasa and Levi then began to banter even more and Eren was losing his patience after every second of hearing them argue.

"Get off of him!" Mikasa screamed.

"How about you back off?!" Levi yelled back.

"You don't even care about him! I lov-"

"COULD YOU GUYS STOP?!" Eren screamed, interrupting Mikasa.

Levi then looked up at Eren with a scowl and Mikasa stared at him with a helpless look. Eren then softened his facial expression and got out of his tense position.

"Look, I'm sorry. It's just... you guys fight too much. A lot, actually." Eren admitted. Mikasa looked down in shame. And Levi surprisingly did the same.

"I don't mean to banter anyone but, have you realized how far apart you're getting from each other? And because of me?" Eren asked the two Ackermans.

Mikasa kept her head down in shame but Levi brought his up. "We've never been ones to share." Levi said shamelessly.

Eren turned red quickly and tried to move away from Levi. He was blatantly implying that he was affected by Levi's statement. And that brought Levi certain satisfaction.

"Try to control what you're saying, Levi!" Eren squeaked out in embarrassment. While the whole thing may have been amusing to Levi, it sure wasn't to Mikasa.

On the outside, she seemed cool and collected, not really bothered by the entire frantic situation. But on the inside, she was boiling hot. She felt the angriest she had ever been.

And all because of Eren.

No.

All because of her brother.

He ruined everything for her. She and Eren were getting so close. She may have known him for a long time, but he was always so distant.

Levi then let go of Eren and grabbed his wrist. "Fine. Let's go and talk upstairs. We do have a lot to talk about." Levi stated.

Mikasa then got up in realization and hurriedly grabbed Eren's other wrist. "Wait!" She screamed out.

"What?" Levi seethed through his teeth. He was tired of Mikasa's desperate attempts to take Eren away from her.

"I'm getting my hair cut today. Eren promised that he would be there." Mikasa informed the two.
