"I'm moving away from Derry, Eddie."

Eddie's eyes got wide. "Why?" He asked. Mike sighed "We need more space for our farm. We're moving down to Cumberland." Eddie sighed, shaking his head. Mike patted his back,"Hey, Cumberland isn't very far from here. I'll be able to call you and everyone else. Plus, I'll be able to visit as well." He hugged Eddie and he hugged back, feeling sad about Mike leaving Derry. Mike looked at Eddie,"You know Richie likes you, right?" Eddie always assumed that Richie liked him, but always dissed his assumptions. Eddie shook his head no. "Yeah, he likes you. I didn't know he was gay."

Mike eventually left before sunset, and Eddie was now by himself in his room. He turns on the television and sees the same boring things about politics. The president done this, the president done that, yada yada yada. Eddie slowly drifts into rest, dreaming about being with Richie-Happy and safe together.

Richie was now at home by himself. He sat down on the couch in his living room, staring blankly at the ground. His eyes begin to water.

How could anyone love a stupid idiot like me? Me?! I'm such a fool, such an idiot, such a-

He then hears the phone ring. Slowly getting up from the couch, Richie was beginning to wonder if it was Eds. Picking up the phone on the wall and putting it to his ear, Stanley's voice spoke through the phone.

"Want to come to the quarry with us tomorrow?" Stan asked, yawning after speaking. Richie smiled,"Sure! But don't say anything to Eddie about me liking him..." Stanley agreed, hanging up the phone. Richie put the phone down and smiled, knowing he'll see Eddie Spaghetti tomorrow.
