Chapter 3 Pity

Oh my gosh I'm so sorry you guys I didn't mean to post so late but I got really busy with school and I had a really big writer's block but anyways I'm back now so that's good ^-^

Nobody's POV
It was early in the morning. Mikey was sleeping on the couch with a blanket covering him, put there by Donnie (who left after Mikey fell asleep). Raph sat up and rubbed the spot on his arm where the dart hit him.

"Raph?" Mikey asked waking up, trying to turn to his brother.

"Mikey, you okay?" Raph asked seeing his brother's awkward movements.

"Me? How about you? Are you ok?" Mikey turned the questions around to his brother.

"Yeah, my arm is sore but other than that I am okay. What happened last night?" Raph asked. "I just remember my arm going numb and well, waking up now."

Mikey swallowed hard and started to explain what happened. He did not get even that far before Leo walked in.

"Hey Raph, good to see you're awake," Leo said, "how are you feeling?"

"Confused," he frustrated

"Guess you know how Mikey feels," Raph laughed joining Leo.

"Hey!" Mikey said defensively, trying to turn towards Raph.

"Mikey, are you okay?" Donnie asked walking into the room.

"You still can't see can you?" Leo said.

Raph's heart dropped.
"Mikey, you can't see!?" Mikey nodded. Donnie grabbed Mikey by the shoulders to check his brother's eyes, but Mikey winced in pain. Donnie let go of his brother's shoulders,

"what happened!?" Raph snapped, still unsure if this was a joke or not.

"Well..."

"Is that why you were moving around like before?" Raph asked.

"Yeah," Mikey said as Donnie tried to check his brother over.
"so Donnie am I going to be blind forever?"

"I don't know," Donnie said.

"But, I need to see." The reality was setting in on Mikey. Now that he knew Raph was going to be okay, he could really think about his own problems. It had been nearly five hours since he was blinded, he was only awake for it for one.

"I know Mikey," Donnie said, "I will figure this out.

Mikey was on the brim of tears, he trusted his brother Donnie but he knew that some things can't be fixed.

" D-Donnie.." at this point everybody around him knew how sad he was about this. The reality was beginning too set in but they didn't know what else they could do right now.

"Yeah Mikey..." Donnie said sitting closer to his little brother but what was the point, Mikey couldn't even see him.

Mikey looked like he knew what he was about to say but suddenly was lost for words. All he did was look over too where he believed his older brother Raph was, which was pretty close.

He looked back in front of him.

"Never mind"

Casey and I were on our way to see the turtles. We haven't seen them for almost a week because school started getting really busy, so it was a nice idea to go see them, somewhere to relax...hopefully.
