He decided to follow that feeling in his heart. To go and tell Jennifer that he was a big jerk, for thinking like that. He put on a sweater that he had on that same bright happy morning.

He knocked feeling guilt and relief inside him.

No answer.

Second knock.

No answer.

Third knock.

She answered.

His lips lost the shape they had. Grinning so much his cheeks started to feel pain. He saw her that one girl. The one who calculated things first, more cunning, but just as dangerous as always. They hugged each other, letting the memories inside their minds, and their heads flow.

She reached for his shoulder to hug him, she felt electricity flow down her skin as his lips finally met hers.  Once again. Expecting his usual tentative kiss-soft and searching.

Finding it once again. She felt relieved that he was with her, once again.

The next morning they woke up sleepy and more determine. They went to breakfast.

They were happy once again. Happier than ever. Julio touched her temple. He held her hand and dragged it towards his heart. He mumbled "their is a lot of things I regret, but you... Your're the first thing I don't regret. You feel this heart, you heart it. This heart beats only for you."

She chuckled and gave him a smirk. Holding on tight to what he had said. Like if it was going to go awa, if she didn't catch it. They might have been broken something inside them, but just a little. Because a simple day, would never be enough. Not ever.

Besides the chill outside the little restaurant they went to go eat the day was beautiful. They sky blue, and not a single cloud.

His jaw had no expression, but his eyes were smiling. Tears burned behind my eyelids. I honestly wouldn't know what I would do without him, Jennifer thought. She was as happy as she'll ever be. She couldn't express how glad and thankful she was.

But she was still holding onto the memory of her mom. Maybe she'll visit her on the weekend.

The day flew by really fast. When she knew it was dinner time already. Time to sleep.

They saw each other like if it was the last time. Not letting each other give the satisfaction of feeling that emptiness inside them both. Everything was finally coming up the way she wanted them to.

On Saturday she got the day off, and thought if she should go with her mom. After a couple of minutes of thinking it through she decided to just go.

Julio had a soccer game that day and couldn't go. She gave him a smirk and rushed towards the kitchen to get her keys. As she twisted the doorknob, she thought 'what am I going to say'. She heard her mom's words of rejection inside her mind, feeling tears fall into her cheekbones.

She wiped away the tears with the outside of her hand and rubbed it at the same time.

She rose up from her car seat and pushed the handle. Leading herself to the glass door. As she knocked the door she felt like no one will answer. Until.. Her mom rushed her inside, like if someone was chasing her or spying on them.
