Raven: Homme Fatale

Adios

I was preparing for my last mission in Italy before I could finally start searching for my father's killers, I wore my outfit and I turned the tv on,

"Valerie was found kissing a mysterious, good looking blond guy at café LA in the center of Milan."

I shook my head and rolled my eyes, how can a single person be all over the media for a kiss? If not pathetic, it's at least ridiculous,

I got out of my room only to see Serena with her suitcases in her hands, I took a look at her but I didn't really wanna talk to her after what happened, I crossed my arms and stood still in front of her for a minute before she spoke,

"Good luck, Raven. I'll miss you."

What did she mean that she was gonna miss me? We would work together to find my father's killers, and next year as well,

I tilted slightly my head and looked at her confused,

"What do you mean?"
I asked

Leo walked out of his room and now the three of us were standing in the middle of the hall that looked like it was made for a horror movie with black walls and a red carpet and with candle chandeliers above us that made the room dark with a sense of romanticism,

"Serena is leaving us, Robin. She asked me to transfer her to another mission two weeks ago and I accepted it. You guys might make a great team, but you work better as individuals, and the fact that Serena is still in love with you makes it harder."

Leo explained as he stood in front of me looking deep into my eyes with a professional tone,

"First of all, if she was in love with me she wouldn't have let Leviathan fuck her."

I looked at her as she looked at me wrathful as she raised her eyebrow threateningly,

"Secondly, our wish is our command. Hasta la vista, baby."

I said as I let my arms fall down and put my right arm into my jackets pocket as I took a quick turn and with a quick pacing I left.

I didn't wanna stay there even for one second longer, I didn't feel like having Taylor drive me so I gave him the night off and took the car, I was going above the speed limit, I needed to ease my mind, I've arrived at a bar, I walked inside,

It was a wood-covered bar, the tables were high barrels and there were candles everywhere that made it look really atmospheric,

I sat down and ordered a whiskey, I started drinking thinking of what Leo and Serena said earlier, Leo definitely caught me off-guard, I wasn't expecting to hear that Serena was leaving, and she was planning it for two weeks and didn't mention a thing to me, but she said she truly loved me,

I suddenly got really angry, I chugged the whiskey and ordered a second one,

I remember my behavior, I was learning Spanish growing up, my mother is half Mexican and I have as well Mexican roots, I remember using Spanish only when I was angry and sad altogether, and I spoke Spanish to Serena. She was affecting me in a way I could never imagine, her persistence made her look really sexy to me, and I would really try to find the lost love I have inside me and I would try to give it to her, but she made the worst mistake ever, I won't chase her and I will never run after her,
She made her bed and now she can sleep in it.

Meanwhile at the airport Serena's Point of View

"Have a safe flight Serena, please give me a call when you land. It's not going to be the same without you."

Leo said as he looked at me,

"Thank you Leo. I will don't worry about me, I'll be fine."

I said as I took a step back holding my small purse,

"I'm really sad Robin didn't came to say goodbye."

I said as Leo walked slowly up to me and hugged me, I closed my eyes for two seconds and when I opened them again I saw Robin standing there with his arms crossed grinning sheepishly , he walked up to us and looked at Leo, he was taller than him and he gently pushed him aside as he walked closer to me until one breath was separating us, his breath smelled whiskey and tequila, he slowly leaned in as he grabbed my waist and pulled me on him and he looked deep into my eyes, I thought he was going to kiss me, and he did, but not as I expected, he leaned and kissed my cheek,

"Adios."

He said and let me go quickly as he got out of the airport.
