"Yuta?" Sicheng's heavenly voice rang through his phone, and he instantly felt bad. He knows that Sicheng didn't call him for no reason, but here Yuta was, acting like he wasn't doing anything whilst Yukhei was biting his neck.

"Y-Yes, Sichengie?" Upon hearing the name, Yukhei grew jealous and bit it harder, dragging his lips across the swollen part, knowing how sensitive Yuta was. "W-What's the - fucking - matter, baby?"

Sicheng sniffled, "W-Where are you?"

Yuta looked at Yukhei and softly pushed him off, "I'm with Yukhei - Lucas - where are you?"

More sniffles.

"Come on, Sichengie."

Yukhei stared at him, eyes boring into him.

Yuta mouthed an, "I'm sorry" to him, but it did nothing as Yukhei rolled his eyes.

"I'm...I'm at our apartment, again. I'm so weak, Yuta, why does no one love me?"

"Sicheng, you're wrong, lots of people love you!"

"Like who?"

"Like me!"

Yukhei looked at him, and the line went quiet.

"Sicheng?"

"..."

"Sicheng, please, I-"

"Yuta, life is hard right now. Please, stop all of this."

"I'm sorry, bear. I didn't mean it like-"

"I know," Sicheng said softly, "I know you didn't, and that's okay. Just-" He huffed loudly. "I dunno. Tell Yukhei I'm sorry."

And with that, he hung up, and Yukhei glared at him.

"I ca-"

"Lucas, listen."

The use of 'Lucas' rather than 'Yukhei' threw him off guard, but he still listened intently.

"What me and Sicheng have is completely platonic. Sicheng has no feelings for me, I have n-no feelings for Sicheng."

Yukhei looked at him, smiling, before kissing him again.

I wish I could believe you, Yuta.
