Once upon a time, there was a girl. A regular girl, just like you or me or the girl next door. She was a small girl, smaller than all the others. You could have almost called her the worthless, un-needed runt. But you couldn't. Simply for one reason. She was a different in a special way. Her father was no more than an Omega in their pack, her mother a used-to-be rouge. She had no siblings, just an old, worn-down German Shepard named Siktin. Her name was Quinny. A small girl. Part wolf part girl. She had straight brown hair that was shorn off just before her shoulders at a slight slope. Her skin was a milky white, her teeth straight. But the most uncommon thing about her was her eyes. On the right, a dark red eye, on the left, a bright sea blue one. Although it was not abnormal for a werewolf to have two different coloured eyes, a red eyed wolf was considered a threat to the pack. When a werewolf had one red eye, it meant that they would grow up to have a special, un-natural power that only red eyes werewolves possessed. The powers could range anywhere from the ability to shapeshift not only into a wolf but any other animal. Or the ability to be invisible. Or change what colour your coat was. Some wolves grew up just fine with one or two red eyes. They would just be super smart or have the ability to preform normal things werewolves could do but much, much better. Or one was when the wolf grew up, they would have a severe rebellious streak and be a completely hardcore wolf. Always going for the extreme. When Quinny was born, her mother and father were terribly excited. Quinny was born with two bright beautiful blue eyes and a light gray coat with white patches around her tail, legs, ears and belly. She was a beautiful pup. On the day Quinny turned 4, her mother opened the blinds in her room and called for Quinny to 'rise and shine, it was her fourth birthday.' Quinny yawned and stretched and then opened her eyes. "Mum?" Quinny looked over at her mom. "Yes baby?" Her mom looked over at Quinny lovingly. She and Haten had waited for so long to have a pup. The pack healer had told her that she wouldn't be able to have pups but here she was smiling down on her perfect little girl. That's when she noticed Quinn's eyes weren't both sky blue. One was a deep garnet. Her mother held back a gasp and bit her lip. "Quinn, baby?" Quinny rubbed her eyes and looked sleepily up at her mom. "Mmmm?" "Um, Hun, let's go see your dad." Quinny pushed her covers off and put her little toes into her Mickey Mouse slippers. She looked so cute, her short brown hair all over the place from sleeping. Her pink sparkly kitty pjs. She peered up at her mom through her jagged brown hair with her big blue and red eyes. "Is something wrong, Mummy?" "... I don't know baby."
