I was just walking out of the house when I got the call from the school. Henry hadn't shown up for school. I hurried up to his room, thinking that he had only slept in, but he wasn't there either! I hurried to my car and drove like hell to the sheriff's station. I walked hurriedly down the corridors, my heels clicking and clacking as I went.
I turned to the corner to find Graham talking to someone in a cell. I gasped when I saw Emma Swan leaning against the cell door. "What are you still doing here, Miss Swan? I thought you were heading back to Boston?" I asked her. She shrugged her shoulders.
"I was...and I almost hit a wolf," she replied sadly. Graham cleared his throat and turned to looked at me.
"Is there something that I can help you with, Madame Mayor?" he asked. 'God he is hot...but not as hot as Emma.' I thought to myself.'What the hell did I just say?' "Madame Mayor?" I snapped back into reality, averting my gaze from Miss Swan.
"Henry didn't go to school today...and he wasn't in his room this morning." Emma's eyes widened.
"Do you know where he is?" she asked. I glared at her.
"Obviously not, Miss Swan, or I wouldn't be here asking for the sheriff's help," I snapped. She backed away from the bars slowly.
"I can help," she said softly. I scoffed at her.
"How could you possibly help?" She looked up at me, her brow raised.
"Did you check his computer? Maybe he emailed someone and is heading out to meet them."
"How could you possibly think of some thing like that?"
"Because it's exactly what I would have done. I am pretty handy when it comes to computers, maybe I can help you locate him?" I looked over at Graham and he stared at me, awaiting for my approval to let her out. I nodded my head and he unlocked her cell. He grabbed her by the arm and pulled her out of the cell. I held my hand up.
"Let her go," he did as I said and I approached her. "Either you come peacefully and cooperate with the sheriff and myself. If you don't, then I will have you put back in that cell."
She nodded her head. "Okay." We walked outside and we got into my car, while Graham got into his cruiser to follow us to my house. I got out and led Miss Swan up to Henry's room.
"Good luck, it's password protected." Miss Swan withdrew a keychain that had something strange looking on the end of it. She shoved it into to USB port and the password screen vanished.
"Now it isn't," she said as she sat down in front of it. She managed to get to Henry's email within minutes, but it was completely empty. "Smart kid he emptied his inbox, but let's check his trash." She clicked on it. "Hmmm...says here that he was on a website called, Who's Your Mommy...explains how he found me. Says you have to pay with a credit card. Let's see." A few more clicks. "Who's Mary Margaret Blanchard?" I huffed angrily.
"Henry's teacher...I'm going to pay her a visit." I grabbed my jacket, Emma and Graham following me. "You can go back to doing your job, Sheriff. I'll take Miss Swan back after I deal with Miss Blanchard." Emma got into the passenger seat of my car and Graham drove off. I got into my car. "I honestly can't believe this." I started to drive down the street. Emma was silent. "You can say something you know. I'm not going to snap at you," I joked.
I glanced at her as she twidled her thumbs. "I don't either," she said. I chuckled.
"Miss Swan, you can say more than three words." I saw a small smile cross her face.
"Well...I just...don't know what I'm suppose to say here, Miss Mills. I understand that you're angry...but Henry only wanted to find me." I gritted my teeth together.
"That's not why I'm upset, Miss Swan."
"Really? Because you seemed pretty pissed to see me just a little bit ago at the station."
"That's because I wasn't expecting to see you. I thought you had left Storybrooke last night, but instead you spent time in jail. Forgive me, Miss Swan, but I don't like finding out that the woman who gave my son a ride home the same night that she got arrested for drunk driving. It just...irks me in a way." Her shoulders slumped.
"I wasn't drunk. I had one drink and that was at your house last night."
"Well, I didn't know that I had a lightweight at my house. Next I will just give you water."
"Like, there'll ever even be a next time. And for your information, Madame Mayor, I can hold my liquor." I rolled my eyes.
"Yeah sure." She crossed her arms over her chest.
"Pull over." I looked at her.
"Excuse me?"
"I said, pull over." I pulled over to the side of the road and she jumped out before I came to a complete stop. I rolled the window down.
"Miss Swan, what are you doing?" She ignored me and started walking. "Okay fine!" I stomped my foot onto the accelerator and the car sped away from Miss Swan.
