I got up and went into my study, where I kept my hard liquor locked away from Henry. I closed the door behind me, and hurried over to my locked cabinet. I unlocked it and pulled out the hardest liquor I could find. I poured myself a tall glass of it, knocking it back as if it was nothing.
I felt tipsy and stumbled towards my desk, sitting in the chair. I felt the anger take over me and I chucked the glass towards the study door, it shattered loudly. I brought the bottle to my lips, greedily drinking as if it were a glass of apple cidar.
After a few drinks, I remember pulling my phone out and dialing a number. I pressed the phone into my ear. "I need to see you," I drunkenly slurred.
-Emma's Pov-
I heard the familiar sound of my phone buzzing in my pocket. I pulled it out and answered, "Hello?"
"I need to see you," Regina replied. I was shocked to hear her voice, and she even sounded a bit drunk.
"Regina? What's wrong? Is it Henry?" I asked quickly.
"Miss Swan, I suggest you come over here to find out. Don't keep me waiting." With that, she hung up. Sighing heavily, I started my car and drove towards Regina's house. I parked in the driveway and hopped out, running towards the door.
I knocked on it frantically and the door swung open, revealing a disheveled Regina. She was stumbling and slurring the words that she was hardly speaking. She smiled at me. "Hello, Miss Swan," she stepped away from the door, allowing me inside.
"I came as soon as I could," I walked passed her and she closed the door. "Where's Henry? Is he alright?" I heard Regina chuckle behind me and she walked passed me, nearly tripping over her own two feet.
"He's fine, Miss Swan. He's sleeping actually."
"Then why did you call me over here in the middle of the night?" She shrugged her shoulders.
"I don't know! I was lonely...and Graham was being an arrogant bastard...so I sent him home." I raised a brow at her and then she tripped, falling to the ground with a dull thud. The bottle of liquor broke and she winced in pain. I saw the blood as it began to stain her white overcoat.
"Regina!" I ran to her aid, helping her to her feet. She leaned into my body and I wrapped an arm around her waist, helping her towards the bathroom. I grabbed her jacket and helped her take it off. She tossed it aside and blood began to drip on her white pants.
"Fuck," she said. She hurriedly began to undo her dress pants and I felt my cheeks heat up at the sight of her tan legs. She tossed the pants over to the small pile of discarded clothes and she looked over at me, leaning against the sink. She winced in pain and brought her hand up to see the blood that dripped down her wrist. "Miss Swan, why am I bleeding?"
I cleared my throat, trying to control my emotions. "You dropped a bottle on the floor and fell on the shards of glass." I grabbed some medical wrap and began to dress her wound. Her head was lolling back and forth.
She reached her hands towards me and she gripped my shoulders tightly. "Miss Swan, I'm so...sowwy...about having your car booted...and being so cwuel to you eawlier." I nodded my head and she wrapped her arms around me, in a tight hug.
I had never been so close to her and yet I couldn't get enough of her intoxicating aroma of her hair, her body. She hung onto me and nearly fell over stepping away from me. She tucked my hair behind my ear, staring into my eyes. "Your hair is so soft." I smiled and pushed her away gently.
"Regina, you're drunk." She smirked and stepped closer to me, her hands resting on my waist.
"Is that such a bad thing?" she whispered as she gave my waist a squeeze.
