" I love you." He whispered.

" I love you too babe." I looked up at him and lightly guided his face towards mine. We kissed and it was magical. Our lips fit together like a puzzle piece. After what felt hours we laid down in bed our lips still connected. I slowly pull away and turned on the baby monitor and turned back to Jason he leaned back in but I pulled away.

" what's wrong?". He asked serious

" are you forgetting that we have a guest down the hall." I laughed.

"Abby really? Why did you let her stay here in the first place.?" I knew there was something bothering him. As I seen the anger in his eyes and felt the intensity of his voice after he asked I couldn't control my defense outburst.

" because Jason her boyfriend kicked her out and threw everything she owned on the street. Babe she would have been homeless if I hadn't let her stay here plus she has a daughter. When I said that his eyes widened with a look of shock and anger on his face.

"whatever." He said and turned around clearly upset and went to sleep. I try to fight back my anger. I bit my tongue and let him sleep. I couldn't believe how absurd and irrational he was being. But It's getting late and I know I need my sleep before Kieran wakes up for his late night feed. So I closed my eyes and slowly drifted to sleep.

Jason's point of view

I woke up still upset from last night. I looked at my phone and it read 7am. everyone was still asleep so I decided that I needed my space. So I went for a run. Got home 1 hour later and called by best friend Twan.

" hey Twan meet me at the bar." I said.

" ok buddy see you there." After we ended the call I headed to the bar. When I walked in I ordered a glass of rum an coke and a beer for Twan since I've known Twan he orders the same damn beer Cores Banquet. Not ice cold but cool enough to go down like water. After a few sips later Twan walked in. he was 5'6 slender built with rough bad boy hazel hair. He had light brown eyes that can get a number from all over the city especially the always on point 7am shadow he keeps well trimmed. I often wondered how someone like him is still single at 26 or at least several relationships. He is a very respectful guy and I admire that about him. As he approached the table I extended his beer out to him with a witty comment.

"you sure you don't want a man's drink instead of that baby beer bottle?" he graded his beer and replied with.

"we only have one liver I need mine to die with me" then smirks as he takes a sip. We laughed and drank till we were tipsy. Before we knew it ,it was 4:30. I looked at my phone to see 15 missed calls and texts from Abby. I decided it was best to go home. I called a cab, when I got home I saw Abby pacing around the front lawn. She looked worried. I walked up the entrance and was crushed by a loving hug from Abby. I was sure she would have cursed me out or pack my clothes or called the cops for a missing person suddenly,

" Jason where were..?" She stopped

"Jason were you drinking."

" yes now what's your point." I slurred.

" the point is...is that you have a kid you shouldn't be getting drunk. Jason please don't tell me your getting back into your old habits again." She begged. When she said that a flashback played through my mind.
