I was still walking down 21st street when I had a craving for some caramel ice cream. I turned the corner and entered this cute little rustic building that said "ice cream" right on the front window. I ward up to the cashier and ordered.

"Hi, how can I help you?"

"Yes hello, I'm gonna have two scoops of the caramel ice cream in a waffle cone please," I say looking at all the ice cream flavors.

"Okay give me one sec."

While the cashier was cashing me out, the door rang and someone entered the ice cream shop. I looked over and saw a cute guy that was really tall. I looked up and down almost as if I was scanning him to see a flaw. To my surprise, he didn't have a single one. I over heard him order the same thing as mine so I started a conversation.

"You like caramel?" I ask. What a stupid thing to say Leah.

He looked over at me and said, "yeah it's really good in a waffle cone." He smiled and paid.

"I know." I show him exactly what I got and he got the same thing. He smiled and I started to blush.

"Maybe we can get some ice cream one time," he paused. "Together."

I started t blush even more.

"Sure, I'd like that." I grab his phone that he was handing me and typed my number in.

"Thanks." He walked out but turned around and asked my name.

"Leah," I replied.

"That's a pretty name for a pretty girl; I'm Jonah"

I hold out my hand for him to shake while saying, "well it's nice to meet you Jonah."

We both smile at each other and part ways at the door when I caught look of a guy sitting in a bench looking at his phone.

Now he was hot. Red rosy cheeks, brown hair that looked like he spent hours on. Ugh he was perfect.

Oh my god Leah this must be your lucky day!! Two guys who actually talked to you and one heading your way! Stand up strong and flip your hair!!

This cute little guy came up to me. He looked about the be 16 maybe 17. A little younger than me.

"Hey, I was over there and couldn't help but notice your," he paused, "natural glow and beauty."

His cheeks were turning more red by the minute. I spoke up and said,

"Thanks, whats your name?" I say confident.

"It's Zach. What about you gorgeous?" He smiled.

"Leah," I smile back.

"This might be over taking it, but I would love to take you out sometime. Can I have your number?"

I look up and take it phone. I start to type in my number when he gets a text.

Jonah: dude I met this perfect girl and I need some pointers on how to ask be on a date!!

I finish typing in my number and have him back his phone.

"You got a text." I look up and smile and walk away. "Bye Zachy."

He started to blush even harder than he already was.

What a coincidence he has a friend name Jonah who met a pretty girl today...
