I asked Leah if I could come over. Im glad she said yes because I didn't want to tell her this over the phone. I didn't know how she would take it...

I had gotten a text before I asked Leah if it was okay if I came over. It was from Jonahs sister, Maya. We had met each other before but when I saw her one time while me and the boys were out it kind of just happened. And we kissed. I didn't think it meant anything until she texted me not to tell Leah. Well that was up I was planning to do. Tell Leah that we should start over because she had kissed all my other band mates. But Leah had something about her that I havent seen ever before in a girl. And I knew she was one for me.

If only it was that easy. I just kissed her best friend and Maya said she liked it. But the kiss was a mistake in my eyes. But it wasn't in Maya's. I needed to tell Leah incase something clicked in her heart. The kind of feeling when I get when I kiss her. And she wanted to be with me.

My heart was racing while I got out of the uber that I took over to her little apartment just off 21st street.

I knocked on the door and she came over to it. I saw the doorknob wiggle before it actually opened. The door opened and reveled Leah in my purple hoodie she 'forgot to give back.' I remember when she asked to borrow a sweatshirt that night after our date when I gave her that diamond necklace that shes wearing right now and never takes off.

"Hey cutie," Leah said smiling.

"Hey," I said kind of off but I didnt think she noticed.

Leah motioned me to come inside and she closed the door behind me.

I turned around and Leah's lips smacked on mine without warning. I put my hands around her waist and she wrapped her around my neck. I loved this and never wanted it to end. But it had too if I wasn't going to cry when I tell her...

I pulled away with my hand still around her waist line and I stared into her gorgeous eyes. They melted my heart every time.

"Leah I- I have something to say." She looked at me confused.

"What is it Dani?" She asked stepping out of my hold on her waist.

"If its because of Jonah, we are done."

"What?" I ask.

"Your the one I want. Just you Daniel. Its always been you."

My heart was racing from the words that were coming out of her mouth right now. Yeah, she kissed me, but she also woke up on the bathroom floor and yelled for Jonah... I thought she loved him. Not me. But I knew I loved her.

"And ive been so stupid not to realize it sooner. And im sorry."

I was in the smallest amount of shock. She loves me. And I loved her. But her best friends likes me. Thats going to complicate things. So I decided to tell her despite why Maya had told me not too.

"Leah I- I..."

She looked at me and took my hands.

"Daniel... I thought you felt the same way." Her voice trailed off while a tear dropped from her eye.

"Leah im sorry I didnt fight for you. Because I love you Leah. But what im about to say could change that," I say looking back into her deep green eyes.

"What is it Dani?" She looked at me with a look I had never seen on her before.

"Maya and I kind off..."

"Kind of what?" She asked. I could tell her was hurt and confused.

"We kissed." She looks down at her feet and looked up.

"Maya as in Jonahs sister? Maya my best friend?!"

"Yeah, but I want you to know it didn't mean anything because im in love with you." I meant every word I was saying to Leah. I wanted her to know that.

"And... It didn't mean anything to you?" Leah asked.

I didn't hesitate before saying a response.

"Not one bit."

She smiled and kissed me. She soon jumped into my arms and not once did she break that kiss.

That night I stayed over at Leah's watching a movie we randomly picked on Netflix. It was the best night of my life. And I couldn't be happier.

"Wheres your bathroom?" I ask.

"Out my bedroom to the left. And when your done can you go get my phone downstairs? I wanna text my mom goodnight."

"Yeah where is it?" I ask.

"I think downstairs on the coffee table."

I simply reply 'okay' back to her.

After I was done, I walked downstairs and grabbed her phone. It buzzed while it was in my hand. I didn't want to snoop but the phone was already in my hand so I turned it over revealing a text from Jack.

Jack: Thanks for letting me give you a hickey tonight. I had a great time;)

I was furious. I run up the stairs and into her bedroom where Leah layed with a blanket up to her chin. I turn on the light and she immediately bats her eyes from the brightness of the light.

I walk over and pull the blanket off of her and looked down at her neck reviling a purple spot on her neck. It was true. Jack did give her a hickey.

How could I not have noticed it before? How could I be so stupid?

"Do you wanna explain why there is a hickey on your neck and Jack is texting you thanking you for having such a great time tonight? Or should I call him to come over and just leave?" My voice was mean and I think I was scaring Leah. She didn't answer me within ten seconds. She's hesitating.

"Daniel its not what it looks like..." She tried to say my I was so mad I snapped.

"I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME!" I scream.

"I do! More than anything Dani, please."

Her phone buzzes again and I look down at my hand still holding Leah's phone.

Jonah: Im sorry I blew up at you tonight.

My head was literally spinning. I felt dizzy and so angry and I lost it.

The last thing I could remember was Leah begging for me to wake up while holding my hand with my head on her lap. Her phone was still buzzing across the room until I shut my eyes to see darkness and a small voice inside my head saying,

'Leah loves you Daniel, let her explain.'
