isikhulu wasewanda
'prince of wakanda'

~

Vienna was not the place to be. Why? It was so luxurious. Not that Zakiya didn't do luxury, but she didn't like it sometimes. Zakiya sat across from Wanda in a government SUV and she looked over at her best friend.

"You nervous, Maximoff?" Zakiya asked as Wanda looked at her. Wanda slowly nodded before they approached a crowd of people. Some were reporters, some were supporters of the Avengers, some were against them.

"Come with me, ladies." Their bodyguard, Joe, said as he helped hem both out of the SUV. Many people began to shout to them and Wanda started panicking. Zakiya held her hand as they made their way to the entrance.

"Zakiya, I can't do this." Wanda stated panicky as she walked closer to Zakiya.

"Wanda, I got your back. You don't have to worry." Zakiya stated as they entered the meeting room. Everyone was greeting each other or talking with each other. The moment Zakiya spotted Natasha, that's when the bricks hit the fan.

Zakiya felt anger hit her chest when she saw the spy and looked away.

"Zakiya? What's wrong?" Wanda asked as she saw the anger in her best friend's eyes.

"Hot head is here." Wanda looekd past Zakiya and spotted Natasha. She glared before she placed a hand on Zakiya's shoulder.

"Ladies." Zakiya and Wanda looekd to their right and saw a man and a young woman standing beside him. Zakiya glanced at Wanda before she smiled at the man.

"Hi. I'm Zakiya Lawson. This is my friend, Wanda Maximoff." Zakiya introduced before shaking hands with the man, along with Wanda.

"Prince T'Challa of Wakanda." He said with a thick African accent. Zakiya gasped before she bowed slightly. T'Challa chuckled softly at the sudden action before he smiled.

"If I knew you were a prince, I would have shown more of my 'proper' manners." Zakiya joked which caused T'Challa to laugh along with Wanda and the young woman.

"Oh, Ms. Lawson, meet my sister, Shuri." T'Challa introduced as Shuri smiled and held out her hand. Zakiya gladly shook her hand and then Wanda. Shuri stared at Wanda for a moment, taking in her beautiful features. She felt her blood going to her cheeks while she looked before taking her attention away.

"So, I hear Wakanda is a third-world country. What does that exactly mean?" Wanda asked as Zakiya smiled to her friend.

"Basically, it's based off of defense system, economy, and well, civilisation." Zakiya summed it down as Wanda nodded in understanding.

"5 minutes. 5 minutes."

"Looks like the meeting's about to start." Zakiya stated as T'Challa nodded and smiled.

"My son." Zakiya turned around and her smile slowly faded when she saw a man much older than T'Challa standing behind her.

Then it hit her, T'Challa was a Prince, so this must be his father, the King.

"Father." T'Challa greeted with an assuring smile. Shuri began to talk in the Wakandan language. Some of which Zakiya could surprisingly understand.

"We should be seated. I must get ready to speak." The King said as he smiled to everyone. Zakiya smiled back before she grabbed Wanda's hand. Just as Zakiya turned her back, she heard T'Challa speak to her.

"I will be looking forward to see you soon, Ms. Lawson." Zakiya giggled softly before she smiled at T'Challa.

"We'll see about that, Prince T'Challa." She stated with a cheeky grin before she walked away with Wanda. T'Challa stood; frozen in shock as he watched the young woman walk off.

"You froze." Shuri said as she smirked at her brother. T'Challa rolled his eyes and faced his father.

"I see you have found the one for you." T'Chaka, his father, stated with a cheeky smile on his face.

"Father..."

"I know when a man is in love, my son, and you, you're in love."
