Okay first of all I know I sort of abandoned this story but hey, better late than never huh?
So, as the train started towards Hogwarts the three eleven year olds started talking and getting to know eachother. "so, what's your family like?" Laura asked pulling up her legs and crossing them on the seat. "well there's us, mum, dad," "a little sister named Ginny, three older brothers and a younger brother named Ron" they said together. "wow. I only have my parents and older brother Cedric" Laura said shrugging. "you said your names diggory?" one twin asked "yeah" "our dad works with yours. If your a diggory why do you have red hair." "yeah, as far as I know diggorys don't have red hair" another twin said. Laura shrugged "I don't know. I've always asked my mom to dye it brown but she never let me"
The train approached the school and the the children climbed ini a boat together. On the way to the castle they continued talking. "so what house do you want to be in?" Laura asked the twins. "gryffindor" they replied simoultaniously. "our whole family has been in gryffindor" one twin said. "what about you?" the other asked. "I want to be in Hufflepuff with m brother" Laura replied sheepishly. She wasn't sure how these boys would respond, most people saw hufflepuff as a joke but they were cool about it. "oh thats cool." "according to our brothers there are some pretty cool hufflepuffs" Laura smiled and faxed up at the majestic castle as it came into view.
The sorting came. Laura was one of the first sorting because her past name started with a D. The hat was placed on her head. "hmm....interesting. You would do well in any of the houses. Plenty of bravery. Not a bad mind. Cunning and knowing in how to get what you want. Loyal. Very loyal. Hmm.....well better be....." "hufflepuff. Please hufflepuff" "hufflepuff eh? Not many requests for that. Well I think possibly you'd do well in....GRYFFINDOR!!!" the hat screeched. It was pulled off her head as the school cheered. On her way over to the gryffindor table Laura shot her brother an apologetic glance and shrugged as if to say "oh well" and she say at the end of the table.
Meanwhile, farther down the table Bill weasley looked down the table at his sister. He knew the truth because he had been seven when še was born an remembered clearly that Fred and George were triplets not twins and got his mother and father to tell him the truth when he was eight. Then Fred and George got sorted into gryffindor as well and sat o either side of her. He was shocked. His mother had strictly told
Him it was mandatory that the three of them don't meet. He would have to write his mother and tell her about this as soon as he could.
