It was about mid-summer when the owl came. Laura was outside with Cedric when it perched on a tree stump nearby. Curious, the two siblings made their way over to the seemingly fragile owl, looking like it was about to collapse. Carefully, Laura took the envelope, seeing it was addressed to her. Reading it, she lit up and ran into the house, "mummy!" She called.

Laura had mostly gotten over the fact that her mum wasn't actually her mum. Life just went on as normal.

Laura ran up to her mother. "Mum, the Weasleys are going to Diagon Alley tomorrow to get their school things, can we go tomorrow too?!"
Alyssa Diggory laughed at her daughter's enthusiasm, "yes we can"
"They also invited me to stay at their house for the last little bit of summer."
"Did they?"
"Yes they did mum. Can I? Can I go? Please?"
Alyssa smiled, "well of course you can. I don't see why not." Laura smiled even bigger, gave her mum a quick hug and ran up to her room to answer the letter.
Alyssa was glad her daughter was spending the last bit of summer at the Weasley household. She was going back to the house she should have grown up in.
"Cedric!" She called out the window, "please bring that owl in, it looks like it's going to faint!"
"I think it already has mum!"

The next day in Diagon Alley came and went. Wreaking havoc for their parents, getting new books and robes, and eating ice cream. All in all, it was a good day for the Weasley triplets. Returning to the Burrow Laura could barely stand still. She was jumping with excitement, she was going to see it! The cozy home with family dinners and hand-knit jumpers and the welcoming mess the boys had described, she was going to see it. Finally.

Laura walked in last. Looking around in awe. "This place is wonderful" she said. Fred and George smiled and laughed at her wonderment. They each grabbed one of her hands,
"Come on Laura" George said
"We need to show you our room!" Fred finished. They're the go of her hands and ran up the stairs, Laura following behind, laughing.

Mrs. Weasley was in the kitchen and watched them run up the stairs. She sighed and turned to her husband who had been watching 9 year old Ron and 8 year old Ginny as the others were at Diagon Alley. "Just look at them Arthur. It's like they were never separated in the first place. It's like...she's been here the whole eleven years."

"Well Molly, twins and triplets are different than normal siblings. They were born together. They have a bond to each other that no amount of distance can break. You should know, your brothers were twins after all."

"I know Arthur. I know that very well I just...I don't want one of them to...to die. I separated them so this wouldn't happen. So they would all live."
At that moment a loud burst of laughter came from the twin's room. "Molly they could have been separated for ten thousand years and they would still find their way back together. They'll enjoy the time they had together and when the inevitable comes...they'll have those happy memories."
Mrs. Weasley nodded, looking up in the direction her children had run.
"I just don't want them to have to deal with losing each other."

The summer was uneventful. As was the next school year, except for when they finally figured out how to use that parchment they had swiped from filch. It had become routine now for Laura to spend the last half of summer at the weasley's. Everyone knew by now that the Diggory girl was actually a Weasley (although it wasn't hard to figure out) and their second year and summer of Hogwarts wasn't very exciting.
Then came the day they departed for their third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Fred, George, and Laura had found their compartment, the same one every year. They were on their way out to say their goodbyes when they noticed a small boy, most likely a first-year, struggling with his trunk.
"Need some help?" George asked.
"Um, if you don't mind." He replied quietly. This boy was quite skinny. He looks like he's scrawny to begin with but it's as if he's too skinny, hasn't been fed enough. "Hogwarts food will definitely fix that" Laura thought.
She was snapped out of it when she heard Fred exclaim, "are you Harry Potter?!"
"Wait, what? Harry Potter?" Laura asked confused. Looking at the boy she suddenly noticed the fair yet still noticeable lightning scar on his forehead. This small, skinny boy was most definitely Harry Potter, the Boy who Lived.
And the triplets didn't know it at the time but this little firstie was going to become one of their most valued friends. Valued enough that they never pranked him. He never cared what they did, he always found it interesting, fascinating and funny. He was always there to laugh even when they made the stupidest, most unfunny jokes.
He's going to be there every time they needed to hear someone laugh.

((Finally! I know this one isn't the best but idk. I did what I could. Hoped you liked it!!!))
