Ace's life

Age fourteen

Ace was currently laying on blades bed watching a scary movie with him. Joker had been gone for a few days on what he called a 'business trip' on the screen a monster popped up and ace screamed burying her head into blades chest. Blade chuckled. "I told you this movie is to scary for you" he said. "no its not see I'm fine its just actors" ace said trying to convince herself more then trying to convince blade. "what ever you say" he says with a chuckle. They lay there watching the movie when it was over blade turned to ace. "okay Ace time for bed" he said smiling. she scoffed at him. "I'm not some little baby you know I don't have a bed time." She said. "well I'm telling you to go to bed you have school tomorrow" he said. She sat up before she could get off the bed blade pushed her back down. he kissed her cheek "good night ace" he said. "night blade" she grumbled getting off the bed. She walked in her room and stripped into shorts and a big T-shirt she stole from blade. Climbing into bed she laid there looking up in the dark. It scared her. she dashed out of bed and down to hall into blades room. Jumping on the bed she heard him grunt. "What in the hell are you doing?" He hissed "you were right I can't handle it please please let me stay in here" she begged. "fine" he said. "no more scary movies for you ever" he said. Ace nodded her head. She climbed under the blankets with blade and cuddled up against him rapping her cold feet around his. He squirmed and she giggled "Jesus women are you dead?" He asked. "now why?" she questioned back. "because your feet are freezing" she giggled more. "good night blade" she said. Cuddling close the the man next to her. She let out a breath of satisfactory. She was warm she was safe and she was laying in bed with her crush things couldn't get better for Ace.

He looked over at her sleeping silhouette she was sprawled out across his bed one foot on top of him one hanging of the edge of the bed. Her dirty blonde locks like a Mane of a lion spread around her head her arms throws under the pillow. He chuckled slightly. Looking at her shirt he noticed it was his. "I've been looking for that shirt for a month" he said quietly to himself. Slowly getting of bed careful not to wake up ace he made his way down stairs and into the kitchen. Walking in he pulled down the pancake mix. He started making breakfast as ace had to be up in thirty minutes and to school in a hour. Joker enters the kitchen dramatically. His face instantly falls upon seeing no ace. "hey uh blade?" "yes boss" he answers not turning around. "where is ace?" "she is um in my room" "and why is she in your room?" Joker asked frustrated. "She slept in there last night" he answered. "and where did you sleep?" "in my uh room" "on the floor?" joker just kept questioning blade. "no in my bed" "so she slept on the ground?" "no she slept in my room in the bed with me" he said clearly. Joker looked pissed. "boss hey nothing happened I mean for gods sake she is your daughter and fourteen." Joker nodded his head and walked away up stairs and into blades room. Ace was just getting up. "hey daddy" she said smiling getting up out of bed. blades shirt went down to her knees. He smiled at her. "hey pumpkin I was thinking today you skip school and come with me on a job what yah say?" he asked. "um like a actually job with you and blade?" she questioned. This would be her first job she had had shooting lessons with her dad once but that was it. "yup" he said exaggerating the P. She nodded her head in agreement. "let me go get changed." She said walking out and into her room. She got undressed she changed into black skinny jeans combat boots a purple and green ripped up shirt and a leather jacket. She parted her hair to one side. Walking out she walked to jokers room. "here this is for you" Joker said handing ace a revolver carved in gold cursive letters was Jokers ace. There were hearts on it and words such as bad evil live die. "this should be fun" she smiled at her father. He let out is iconic laugh.
