The Last Character

Alice's POV :

After Ami and I finished our work for today, Mr. Mare took Ami home. Mom and Kyo left leaving Allen, Amber and me to look after Hailey.

" Who's he?" she asked as she point at Allen.

" My brother," I explained as Allen had a piece of bread in his mouth.

" Wha?" he asked in confusion.

" This is Hailey. Our cousin from England. " I told him slowly for him to remember.

" Oh Hailey. Toya said he might visit for a day or so. " Allen said as he grabbed water and went over to the sink and pour it all over his head to cool off.

" Why don't you take a shower?" I questioned as I laughed a bit.

" You know. I think we should tell mom that they invented a thing called an air conditioner.  "

" It's broken." I told him as I guided Hailey to Amber's room. My and Allen's room was too cramp as it is.

" So mom is dating a guy with money and can't get it fix?" he yelled for me to hear.

" Stop over reacting diva!"

" Hey I might be sassy at times but I ain't no diva!" he joked around.

It was pretty late and Hailey went to bed.

~Morning~

I heard sound of bed creaking when I woke up. It's not from my bed. I grabbed  whatever was on the ground and threw over at Allen.

" Not so early!" I moaned.

" Ow! What the hell was that for?" he woke up.

" You're finally awake!" exclaimed Hailey.

I looked over at Allen and he was on his back and she was sitting on him. Good thing she's only like 8. She started to bounce again so Allen can be fully awake.

"What?" Allen said with an annoyed voice.

" Play with meeee!" Hailey whined.

" Go play with Alice." he said as he went back to sleep.

I got up and screcht. " C'mon. We should let grandpa Allen sleep. He's getting old and needs more sleep," I giggled.

" Oh shut up," he moaned as he turned to his side to face the wall.

" Yeah! Let's go!" she exclaimed as I walked down the stairs. I heard the door bell ring.

" Don't answer it Hailey!" I yelled.

" Okay!" she happily said.

I walked over and looked through the peep hole. I saw Toya standing there checking his phone. I opened the door.

" Hi Alice. I'm surprised that your awake. Or anyone for a fact " he said as he entered with his bags.

"Trying to escape from all the paparazzi? " I questioned.

" Yeah. How's things going?" he asked.

" Fine,"

"Alice! Let's!-" Hailey didn't finished her sentence as she saw Toya standing next to me. " Is this your boyfriend?"

Toya and I stood there frozen. " No. This is my step brother," but of course she didn't listen.

Toya took off his sunglasses and hat. I heard a loud gasp from Hailey. " You're Toya from Love X!" she squealed.

She ran up to him and hugged him around his upper legs comparing her from his height. " Um... Alice who is this?" asked Toya ss he pointed to Hailey.
