The Last Day

Amy's POV :

I went over to Alice's house the following day and everyone was there. " So, it wasn't just a dream." Mr. Mare said.

" No. It's true." Tadase said.

" What's going on?" I asked.

" Just confirming something. " Ryuu said. " Everything went downhill right when Senior Alice passed away."

"Wait I'm still confused how that was twincest. " Tadase said.

" Well, " Ryuu was thinking.  "Yeah I don't know how that was twincest. "

" Where's Allen?" I asked.

" Over here Crazy." he said as he was eating a cracker.

" I'm not Crazy!" I argued.

" She will never get it. It's so sad." he muttered.

" We have about only another year. This year we will be 17." Alice said.

" Why are we still on this topic? There's nothing we can do. Worrying about it does nothing." Allen said.

" Then what do you want to do?" asked Ryuu.

" I don't know. I said not to worry. What about a trip or something.  " he said as he sat on the couch.

" So there's nothing you really want to do?" I asked.

" There's one thing." he said as he stood up.  " Will you be my girlfriend? "

I was blushing because he was saying it in front of everyone.  " O-Of course. " then he hugged me.

" Another couple. One more to go." Tadase looked at Ryuu.

" Me and Mona are just friends that I like to tease. Nothing can tie this dog down." he said.

" You mean cat?" said Alice's Aunt.

" Yeah. Yeah." he said.

~Some time later~

Allen was trying to make the most with his time. He really loved me so much. He kept taking me out every single night.  We were having so much fun.

We were trying not to rush everything like Alice and Tadase.  Time fly by so fast that I couldn't believe that I was already 17 and Allen and Alice was about to turn 18.

~That Night~

Everyone was at Alice's house.  No one wanted to go to Wonderland because of all the terrible things that happened. No one could get a hold of Naki. He was long gone.

Everyone was celebrating their birthday the night before. There was presents everywhere.

Allen was opening his gift from everyone.  It was a huge cork bulletin board with a lot of pictures on there. There was a picture where everyone was laughing having a good time. That one was the biggest one out of all of them.

" Thanks guys." he said as he was smiling.

" That was Amy's idea." Alice said. Now everyone calls me Amy.

Then we leaned in to give a quick kiss. I saw the clock. 11:40 p.m. I was hugging him so tight.

" Amy you don't have to be so scared. All we can know they're were just lying." he said trying to calm me down.

I was shaking so much. Tears started coming down. " I wanted to be with you longer. Sorry we couldn't do everything. " I whispered.

" Amy." he said trying to look me in the eyes. " This past year was one of my best moments I had. I don't care if we didn't do it. All that matters you're still here."he said.

" You can do it in like 10 mintues. " Tadase said.

" Tadase." Alice nudge him.

That kind of made me laugh. I stayed there on Allen's lap.

In a few seconds, it was 11:57. I was crying on Allen's shoulder as everyone was either crying on the outside or the inside.

" I'm sorry. How come I couldn't be the one to be punished?" I said. The tears came harder and harder.

" There was nothing that could be done. " he said.

One minute left. " Amy. Here." he said as he gave me a necklace with a ring on it. He put it on me. " This is an engagement ring. I know it's not real and I haven't propose to you but I already knew the answer. I also know you hate wearing rings. So I got a necklace."  he said.

I was crying even harder. “ I don't care if it was fake." buried my head into his shirt. Everyone was around him. Last ten seconds.

" I love you, Amy." he said.

" I love you, Allen." then one official last kiss. We didn't stop kissing until that clock was 12 a.m. He suddenly disappeared.

I saw that I still had that necklace.  Made with fake diamonds but the most important part of it, it still had Allen's love in it. How come we couldn't date? We are not actually twins. Just in a made up world where dreams are suspose to become nightmares in the end.
