Ch 7 Lighted Little Lamps

Leo's Pov

"Lighted lamps are dreams of shadowy paths "

All in all I could only say I don't know a single thing that was going on. All I know was Aries was standing a few minutes ago infront of us asking us to wish him luck . All I knew was he went to the arena. The ships were sailing well off from the ground . We could see the barricade of the broken arena surrounding it half-heartedly. All I knew was while we were still in the corridors of the infirmary , looking at the screen on the high wall , I was standing beside the window looking outside. Virgo went to seek Pisces and Aquarius. While the others stood by my side . Then out of the blue came hurling dark clouds ,covering the massive sky in their clutches. All I knew at that time was that a huge black smoke like cloud descended on the arena and without our knowledge we heard Miss Amanda 's voice through the screen though we could see nothing because of the smoke covering the whole arena in its thick clutches. I heard Miss Amanda clearly screaming for Aries and his opponent to run off.

"What is going on? What is that cloud?" Taurus was already ready to dash out anytime it was called for. Gemini shook his head in.utter dismissive stance.
"I couldn't even look through Aries . He isn't responding..." With an irritated sigh he looked out at the arena. The trees have suddenly started to clash together . Enormous gusts of wind started blowing from every direction. Scorpio and Gemini hurried to the sides of the windows. The door of the room to the patients slide opened. Virgo stepped out in a hurry.
"What's up with those dark clouds? It's so thick that it felt like midnight." She said while fixing her glasses and looked at me for an explanation. Unfortunately I couldn't understand what was going on mySelf. I have already tried reaching out for outer cosmos reaction or malfunction but all in vain. Nothing came up. Everything is fine with the cosmos reaction.
"Then what could it be?" Virgo's emerald eyes widened in fear as a shudder ran through her. She must have looked into my mind through the guardian link. Taurus for a moment look startled and asked if everything is alright.
"I don't know. I have never seen anything like this." The black cloud was darkening even more getting thicker by the second.
"I don't have a good feeling about any of it" Scorpio said and narrowed his ruby eyes at the cloud. Looking at us he said in a low voice ,"Aries is there too...."
Virgo came to me clutching my hand. Her eyes were filled with concern.
Suddenly as if a meteor hit the ground, all the technological surveys and facilities of the school went out. The magical weaponries through which the screen was playing must have gone for it started playing blank. And a shot of lightning flashed through the darken clouds.
"No no nooooo..." Taurus screamed as he dashed towards the exit. Then it hit me. All teh weaponries were dissolved due to lack of magic. And the aerial ships have somehow magically started flying down and then all of a sudden they were coming clashing towards the ground. That is why Taurus hurried away. Our friends were still in the aerial ships.
"Taurus wait..." Before even he could grab on to his hand,Taurus had ran away from Gemini's side.
Scorpio frowned and was going to run and I was gonna follow suit but he abruptly stopped . That reminded me. I turned to Virgo who was following us.
"Do not step out . Stay here with Pisces and Aquarius." Virgo was frowning at me and was gonna protest but I abruptly turned and ran with Scorpio leaving her alone. I needn't turn to see the worried expression on her face. I knew it all too well.

On the ground the havoc had already broken. Large masses of black clouds were descending from every which way. One of the dark clouds looked like a thrashing lash came towards me. I didn't get the time to prepare myself for the attack as it came undone.
"Igneous blast." The flames roared in high spirit diminishing the black clouds . Scorpio was facing the fading smokes .
"Let's hurry up ,Leo . Focus." We sped up with that. While running through the fallen trees branches we came into the clearing . Gemini was still running after Taurus who wasn't listening to him. Giving each other a side glance ,we used our guardian speeds to reach them. Maybe a bit too late .
