The street is cold, and dark. Similar to the parking lot outside the office.

My hands search my Barney's handbag for my phone to call a cab. I'm much too tired to walk home. I don't even know where I am.

This is his fault. The reason I'm out here. If he wasn't the biggest arsehole I wouldn't be out here, alone, and cold. Mostly hungry.

I'm startled by a hand on my arm, but I know who it is. I know it's Styles. His movements were fast. He hurled me around, twirling me his way.

"And where do you think you're going, Adelaide?" He questions calmly.

"Don't you think you've used that line one too many times?" I hiss at him, venom clear in my tone.

"Don't you think you've ran out on me enough? It's annoying. Come back to dinner with me." He's holding my hip, and the skin warms my own.

His tone isn't pleading, nor helpless, and I selfishly wish it was. It's demanding, overbearing even.

"I don't appreciate you bossing me around like I'm a five year old." I want to take his large hand from my hip, but the feeling is exquisite.

"Stop acting like one then," he scowls at me. A deep frown set on his face.

"Is it so hard to ask me?" I yell. He really does make me crazy.

"Adelaide, I am not joining this petty feud with you, come back and eat your dinner."

"We didn't even order dinner yet." I bit back, trying to hold onto my anger. But his softening eyes held up a great fight.

"Please." He sighed. He's beautiful. Green eyes and all.

I surrendered. "Okay." And I was following him into the restaurant again.

We received bewildered looks as we made a grand entrance into the restaurant.

I held back the urge to bring my finger to all the judgmental onlookers. Styles must have noticed my twitching fingers, because he took them in his own carelessly, tugging me along. Though it was an action to keep me from acting out, the thought of him warming my skin fluttered my heart none the less.

It didn't surprise me when he spoke. "Hurry up."

I pull the sleeve of my sweater down past my wrist, holding it with four fingers. In my other hand I held my wine glass, a small blushing smile on my lips.

I hold the glass to my lips. Harry must've taken taken my actions into notice. "You seemed overly dressed Adelaide." He teases, a grin marking his perfect features.

"Well Mr. Styles," I peer up at him over the rim of my wine glass. "I am anything but upscale."

"Certainly uncanny Adelaide." He grins. It's a simple grin, but none the less the most beautiful piece of art I've ever witnessed.

"I'm anything but eerie." I grin back. Are we flirting?

"I would disagree, but the smile son your face is captivating." I gasp.

"Are you flirting with me Mr. Styles?" My cheeks are tinted, and I'm feeling exquisite.

That is, until his grin quickly fades, and an annoyed expression implants itself onto his model worthy features.

I quickly advert myself to drinking more of the delicious wine I'm holding, avoiding any further word vomit that will projectile itself all over this "friendly dinner".
