Saturday afternoon Liam, Mark and Paul arrive all had rode together in Liam's car since he had the directions to my house. Before we left the parking lot last night Liam and I exchanged numbers and it was hard for me not to act all giddy at this exchange. I had texted Liam my address last night when we had arrived home and were settled in the living room with my dad and brother and five large pizzas, three boxes of wings and five two-liters of soda.
I ended up texting with Liam for about an hour last night while we were eating and watching a movie together, Layland's choice, which was 'A Nightmare on Elm Street'. Layland has an unhealthy obession with these movies. He watches them all the damn time when he can. Every so often I would see Hunter and Louis exchanging smug glances with each other or smirking like assholes at me knowing that I was texting Liam more than just my address. Every time they would look at me I would flip them off which only caused them to smirk at me even more or make little sarcastic comments here and there.
"Boys, breakfast is ready!" dad hollers from the kitchen. Groaning all four of us wander into the kitchen, Layland from his room and the three of us from mine. Hunter and I always share my bed and Louis insists on sleeping on an air matress on my floor. My bed is big enough to accomadate the three of us but he won't share it with us.
The five of us grab plates and load them with the awesome breakfast of bacon, eggs, toast and pancakes that dad made before sitting at the kitchen table. Light conversations fill the room.
"So, Jules, I get the impression that you like one of the boys that was at the fights last night," dad says wagging his eyebrows at me. Gapping at him like a damn fish out of water I can't answer him. Damn him for being so observant. Dad gives me an evil smirk before continuing, "So which one is it? Let me guess," he contines rubbing his chin.
His eyes light up as he kind of shouts out, "Liam, it's Liam isn't it? I think I saw you glancing at him after your fight." I can feel myself growing a dark shade of red at his outburst and observation. "I'm right aren't I?"
When I don't asnwer Louis and Hunter do so. "Yes! He's been crushing on him shortly after you guys moved here."
Shooting them daggers as I mutter to myself, "Skeftika oti ta paidia itan filoi mou?" (Thought you guys were my friends?) This causes dad and Layland to burst out into laughter as they stand and place thier dishes in the dishwasher as the rest of us follow.
"Yios, aftos mas charitomenos. Rotiste ton exo," (Son, he's cute. Ask him out) is all dad says to me before he heads to him room to get ready for his shift at work.
As dad is walking out the door he hollers, "There's money on the counter for dinner. No drinking, drugs or sex while I'm gone."
Three hours later everyone else has arrived at my house and we've decided to go the local skate park to play basketball instead of being cooped up in the house all day. Breaking into teams of two, I'm on a team with Liam, Hunter Louis and Mark. Paul, Layland, Kelsey, Clark and Jace are on the other team. We play for a couple of hours before the game is done with my team barely winning against the others with a score of 56 to 54. Slowly we make our way back to the house in order for us to cool off some.
We spent the rest of the evening either playing card games or watching a movies while we ate the take out Thai food we ordered. After eating and tiring of the movies and card games we were playing we decided to play Truth or Dare. Sitting on the floor around the coffee table the ten of us are sitting while we play this game, it's a way for us to get to know everyone else better and have some fun.
"Julian, truth or dare," Mark asks turning to me where I'm sitting between Hunter and Louis.
Without even thinking I answer 'dare' which causes Mark to smirk at me. Fuck, what is he going to do to me. "Perfect. I dare you to make out with someone in this group other than obviously your brother, Hunter or Louis."
