Connecting The Clues

Keith searches the school. He disguised himself in a uniform to pass by.

Lyric was no where to be seen.

"She's a psycho." He hears a girl rant.

He looks over to see a girl with long curls gossiping.

"Tell us something we don't know Nadine."

Keith's phone buzzes, he puts it to his ear. "Hello?"

"We gathered the information...it's true."

Keith smirks. "Good. We have a bit more information."

"Have you tracked her yet?"

"No..." Keith says.

"But I'm on it." Keith says.

"Don't fuck this up, you still owe the money for the dope you ordered, you have until the end of this month to pay or it's your ass."

Keith hangs up, Nadine rant to Remi.

"I can't believe it, and she's allowed to come back on Friday too."

"Maybe if we can find some sort of dirt on her..."

Keith thought to himself. Her education? He's heard about her being really smart and talented but he didn't know much about her.

"The dumb hussy even got pregnant." Nadine says.

Keith's jaw drops.

He runs off when he hears the footsteps get closer.

Lyric eats the cupcakes, standing next to Ace.

"Seriously Lyric...you eat a lot." Ace says with his hands in his pockets.

"Shut up." Lyric says between bites.

Ace looks at the door. "We should go...tonight Miracle wants to make up the other night...she felt really bad."

"It wasn't her fault."

"Still...Miracle is sensitive." Ace says.

Lyric looks at Ace, he's been blanking out every now and then, and he just looks so emotionless. Knowing her, she's about to point that out.

"Ace...come on, what's wrong?" She asks.

"I'm still pissed at my dad."

"Ace..." Lyric says, she grabs his hand.

"Not everyone is gonna like me. But I'm not with your dad, I'm with you."

"That's why I love you so much."

It took only a split second for Ace to realize what he said, because Lyric stared back at him with her wide brown eyes.

"Forget I said that."

"Easier said than done.'

"Let's go back to the hotel, we'll need to get ready."

Lyric nods her head, following Ace outside.

Ace thought to himself.

Shit. I let my feelings slip again...but it's better than hiding it from her. Because Lyric is growing on me everyday and I'm starting to like that.

A seductive laugh rung his ears.

All Ace had seen was black, a girl with platinum blonde hair, blue eyes and she wore a t-shirt and a g-string.

"Surprise!"

Ace shook his head, she walks closer to him, laughing.

"You think you could get rid of me that easily?" She asks.
