Kim stared at the ground as the entire class laughed at her.
"Braindead!" One student yelled out through tears of laughter.
"Comedy gold" another remarked as they threw a paper ball at Kim.
Jaiden felt so angry for Kim she started shaking. She had had it with this teacher. Mrs. Cummings was awful to Kim all the time only because she had a hard time learning. Jaiden stood up from her chair and stared right at Mrs. Cummings.
She felt a surge of power through her body.
Her head twitched. Her knuckles had turned white. Her eyes looked so fierce it was almost as if they could laser down anyone in her path. She glanced over at her poor friend Kim only to see a single tear drop roll off of her cheek and on to the ground.
Jaiden snapped.
As quick as a bullet a stack of homework papers on the teacher's desk wizzed off and into the back of Mrs. Cummings who was facing the board.
The class fell dead silent as they tried to comprehend what just happened.
Mrs. Cummings slowly turned to face the room.
