Sans was excited. Instead of the cafe, like normal, ____ was taking him to get nice cream! Apparently, the albino had never had the treat before, and insisted they get it next time they met. She was waiting for him at the park. A dark blue, long sleeve shirt graced her torso, clinging to her body. It rode low on her hips, covering the top of her light blue jeans. She wore a pair of black converse on her feet, one of many pairs she had shown him. "Hello Sans! It's good to see you!" She was quick to envelope him in a tight hug. He hugged her back, keeping ahold of his strength. He had accidentally broken one of her ribs with a too tight hug once, and she hadn't been able to do a lot after. "HELLO FRIEND ____! IT IS GOOD TO SEE YOU TOO!" He spun her as she giggled. He set her down when he was done and took her hand. "READY TO GO?" He was nearly bouncing. She nodded and started to lead him through the park. It was a nice day, with bright sun, but that sent a strike of worry though him. He had learned a lot about albinism from ____, and increased risk of skin cancer was one of the things she had to deal with. He tried to subtly increase their pace, but she slowed him down, insisting he relax and enjoy the day. "I know what you're thinking, and I'm not going to get cancer from a few minutes of sun~" She assured him. He nodded tensely, but she calmed him easily. His facade always seemed to collapse around her. He acted less excitable, and his voice was quieter, rather than always yelling. He was still naturally pretty loud though. ____ didn't mind, however. She even seemed to enjoy it as they chatted. They came to the shop and walked in. Sans made sure to hold the door for her, which always made her laugh a little. "Hehe! Such a gentleman!" He grinned, following her. "You order first. I need a second to decide." He nodded, approaching the counter. "Hello! I would like a strawberry cheesecake nice cream cone!" ____ nodded, looking over the options. "And I'll have the blueberry cheesecake nice cream cone. Both with two scoops." He looked at her. "____, you're spoiling me!" He complained, but didn't object. She laughed, and before he could even pull out his wallet, payed for the cones. He pouted. "It was my turn to pay!"
"No, you payed for the birdseed last time, when we went to the pigeon feeding ground. Which means it was my turn." She grinned victoriously. He grumbled in defeat. The vendor chuckled at them, handing Sans the nice creams. They headed to a shaded bench outside, surrounded by flowerbeds. He found himself glancing at his friend a lot as they ate, a soft blush on his cheeks as she licked the blue treat. She met his eyes and smirked. She was teasing him! Well, two can play at that game! He switched to more lewd ministrations on his cone, feeling a rush of pride when ____ blushed. She redoubled her efforts. This continued for a few minutes until they both busted up laughing. They leaned against each other. He thought for a moment. "____..."
"Yes, Sans? What is it?" She looked up at him. He paused, then pressed on. "Is this... A date?" She hesitated. "Do you want it to be?" He shrugged. "I'm not sure. But I... I would like that..." His cheeks began to glow. She smiled softly. "Then yes, it is a date." He smiled back. He felt a warmth in his soul. They headed back to her house slowly. He knew it was getting late and his brother would be home soon, he didn't have much longer. "Well... I suppose I'll see you next time." He smiled sadly. He didn't like that he had to keep his friendship, now romance, a secret, but his family would freak out after telling him to stay away from her. ____ nodded, squeezing his hand comfortingly. He took a deep breath, and with a rush of courage, leaned forward and planted his teeth firmly against ____'s lips with his sockets closed tightly. He relaxed when she kissed back, pressing against him a little. They parted slowly, looking into each other's eyes. Kissing wasn't like the novels said. There was not electricity, no fireworks, but he had to admit, it was still amazing. He was dazed, found himself in almost a trance, which was broken by ____ speaking. "Wow..." He couldn't help nodding in agreement as his soul pulsed. She miled happily. "Goodnight Sans." He sighed. "Goodnight ____." He turned as she went inside, heading down the sidewalk.
