Papyrus set about cleaning the blood up around Sans, who still refused to let ____ go. They cleaned her up, stitching her wounds closed because you can't heal a corpse. It was quiet as they worked. "sans... i have to go call the others, okay? they need to know what happened." Sans was silent, staring down at ____. Her skin had lost it's pink tint, now paler white. Her lips were a more purple-y blue tone as well. He couldn't help but think of all the time they spent together. His soul hurt. He felt the stirring again. 'Nn... Sans?... What happened?... Last thing I remember was Alphys attacking me...'
"__-____?!" he sputtered, staring at the pale corpse in his arms. 'I don't think I'm in there anymore. After all, I'm seeing through your eyes.' His sockets widened as he realized what was going on. He was talking to her soul! 'Interesting. We should probably research soul fusion if this is how things are gonna work.'
'Wait, can you hear what I'm thinking?!' he looked towards the mirror, meeting his (their?) eyelights in the reflection. They looked teal instead of cyan now. He found it hard to look at all the changes to his body, but knew he needed to adjust to it. This what showed him he still had her. Papyrus seemed confused and concerned. Sans gave him an apologetic glance. "Sorry, I can hear ____'s soul talking to me... It's weird..." Papyrus blinked, then groaned. "Ugh... Things are gonna get a lot more confusing..."
