Jellal Fernandez~

I jumped off the highest building after nodding at Ultear and Meredy. I only have one night left before proceeding to our next missions.

It's been a while since I haven't seen this scene. The moon was shining brightly, lighting my way as I proceeded to my destination.

I was infront of the Fairy Tail guild, the guild mark was embedded on it's wall.

I didn't even know why I was here. It's just that my instincts told me to visit while I was here in Magnolia before we could proceed to Era, where we needed to accomplish some things.

A lot of things had happened and now, all I had to do was get rid of any dark guilds before I could vanish from the earth. And I wanted to finish everything before that could happen.

I didn't have much time left so I had to take this final opportunity to meet her again, though I should not really let her know, otherwise she would get hurt, hoping that I would come back any time.

I inhaled softly before opening the door.

It was dark, but I could still make out the pathway and stairs, leading to Erza's room.

I followed the path slowly, I didn't want to wake anyone up. I just wanted to see her again. That's all.

I missed her so much.

Just as I was able to make sure it was her room, I instantly opened the door accidentally, only to see and notice that it was their infirmary.

I turned my back to leave.

"Sneaky as always huh," I spun around just to see the owner of the voice.

Gray was sitting on the bed. I stared at his dark eyes, still visible despite the dimness of the room. He happened to force to grin at me while I was gaping at him. I didn't know it would take this long for him to recover.

"I didn't mean to interrupt your sleep," I firmly explained.

"You didn't. I was actually awake the whole night. But I wasn't expecting you." He said, his tone reassured me quite a bit.

I looked at him and stepped a bit closer. There was a strange silence.

"How are you feeling?" I inquired.

"Same question that she asked earlier," I heard him mumble. "But I think I'm recovering,"

"It must be hard for you. Undergoing that curse and having your magic sealed.."

"Yeah. But I'm sure there is a cure for this,"

I turned my gaze and looked down at my arms, letting it glow.

He stared at me with no emotions as I made my way beside him, placing my hands in the air as a gleam of light appeared. I didn't know if this would actually work, but I needed to try.

"What are you doing?" He asked. I could say he was shocked to see a dark violet light coming out of his body.

"Reversing the curse." I stated calmly and noticed that he relaxed himself, trusting me.

I focused on him. According to Ultear, this kind of magic needed a large amount of mana. But I think I could do it right now, assuming that this was for a good cause.

I learned this kind of magic when Ultear and Meredy let me out of the magic council's prison. But I haven't used it ever since, only this time.

The light slowly vanished as I turned to see him. He relaxed his fists and examined himself. I breathed heavily.

"It's gone now." I mumbled, assuring the best for him.

"Yeah." He said and hesitated after a while. "But why.."

"I owe you a lot. You were there when she was hurt.,"

"That's because you already hurt her too much,"

I flinched. He was right. She was hurt because of me, and now she was waiting for me to come back.

"If you leave her again, I won't hesitate to tell her how I feel about her. And you know that right?" He continued, which left me speechless.

I smiled. A forced one.

"Just take care of her for me," I retreated. "I won't be able to stay here for a long time,"

I stopped when I reached the doorway. I turned a  him. "Just don't hurt her like I did."

"Are you giving up that easily?" Gray mumbled, his eyes striking me.

"I'm not. I'm just letting her go. She deserves someone better. She deserves you,"

"you're here to say goodbye then," He said.

I nodded and exhaled.

"She'll be fine. She was the strongest girl I have ever seen," I took a step away, "Just don't make her cry." I left him but before I could continue, I heard Gray, saying:: "You should come back to her. Or else I would hate you for eternity,"

I closed my eyes and walked slowly, spotting a room at the edge of the corridor.

I guess that was hers.

But I was having doubts whether I should open or not. I was already here, infront of the person I loved.

I turned the knob and walked inside, seeing her sleeping figure.

I kneeled and spotted her sweet, innocent face. That was her when she was asleep. But she really was tough when she's awake.

I smiled at her and touched her cheeks, planting a soft kiss on it.

I stayed there for a moment, not sure if what I was doing was right.

"Jellal..." I heard her mumble just as I stood. I stopped and stared down at her.

She was having a weird dream again.

I continued to walk towards her open window. I guess that was a great exit. It was better to leave her like that, without disturbing her great dreams.

I turned to her again for the very last time. But that time, she was definitely awake, staring at me as she rubbed her eyes.

"Je-jellal?" She mumbled softly, unsure.

Hearing her voice made me want to stay but I only smiled at her before vanishing out of the night, leaving her hanging there, again.
