(R) Chapter 6 Caught

I woke up early tangled in her loving arms and smiled. As always she was the cutest creature on Earth curled in my arms like that. I felt wonderful and alive despite my shoulder being a bit stiff. I crawled out of the bed, showered, and headed down to prepare breakfast for my family. The smell of food and coffee, which Lizzie set again for me the night before, must have woken them and brought everyone to the kitchen. Lizzie stepped to my side and put her hand on my waist and kissed my shoulder, locking her eyes to mine and daring me to say something stupid. I just smiled and welcomed the warmth of her touch. I handed her her morning tea and honey after kissing her good morning. "I love you," I whispered against her forehead.

Always taking care of everyone. It's no wonder everyone loved him. I took my tea, accepted my kiss and returned his I love you. My dad shook his head and laughed. "It's like you two have been together for years. It's adorable." My mom got up and once again took it upon herself to set the table. I know this set Avi on edge as I watched his posture stiffen. "Mom, you don't have to do that." She looked at me like I had grown a second head. "Of course I do honey. Let me take care of dishes after breakfast too, please." I just sighed and shrugged my shoulders. I kissed Avi's cheek. "Just a few more days," I whispered in his ear.

I tried to smile. It wasn't easy, such a little thing shouldn't get to me, but it did. I had no idea I was so rigid in my routine or schedule. The truth was we were a well-oiled machine, in everything that we did. Her mom stepping in to help was definitely a monkey wrench in the machine for me, but Lizzie had it handled and her mom meant well. "I know." I put the food I made on serving trays. When her dad asked if he could help carry them I nodded and smiled too afraid to speak. "It's okay, Son." He reassured me and placed a warm hand on my back. So that was were Lizzie got that from.

I took juice and milk to the table and sat in my normal place. I asked what was on the agenda for today. My parents asked if they could borrow my car and go exploring on their own. They promised to be back by dinner. I was surprised but also kind of relieved. It meant I didn't have to entertain them and Avi and I had a bit of time to ourselves. I winked at him across the table. We ate in fairly comfortable silence. Mom and dad cleaned up afterward. I gave them my keys, they gathered their things and left us to our own devices. "What now?"

I smiled at her with so many devious thoughts running through my mind that I couldn't decide what I wanted to share with her first. "You run."

I wasn't a mind reader but I had a pretty good idea of what was going on in his head. I obeyed his command with every fiber of my being. I started running heading up the stairs towards our bedroom.

There weren't many places she could go to get away from me the way she headed. I caught her on the stairs and carefully guided her back to me. "I could chase you all day long." I kissed her roughly and laughed. "I like catching you." My voice was heated and gentle but my hands were rough on her body as I tugged at her shirt and jeans alternately. I dove back in for a kiss and pushed her back to a sitting position on the bottom stair. "Do you want to get away from me, or would you rather I catch you?"

I liked being caught. I liked the way he roughly kissed me. I loved that his hands didn't know what to do with my clothes. I was out of breath. "I will always want to be caught by you." I smiled devilishly at him.

I smiled again. I went right back at her mouth with mine. I nipped and pulled at her lips until she let me in. Our kiss was hungry and bruising my hands were equally just as hungry. I finally figured out what to do with her clothes and decided that her pants needed to come off immediately. I undid her belt, the button of her pants and unzipped them, then went to work on my own. I was rushing, but I had a lot of pent-up energy I need to get out and get into her.
