We all arrived back at the house at about the same time. We helped each other bring in our bags. Avi raised his eyebrows at the two dress bags and I told him not to worry about it. The men had gone to the store and got steaks and potatoes and corn to grill. It looked like it was going to be a nice night to eat outside. I was happy to see the general closeness between Avi and my dad. They seemed to have bonded and I couldn't be happier. We got things put away and I was ready to drop. "What time is Kevin supposed to be here."

I Kissed her gently and smiled. "Missed you." I pulled my phone out of my pocket and looked at the time. "In about 2 hours. I'd better get started on these steaks and the corn. Did you want to nap for a bit or just chill. I've got this just fine. The birds were out again, they were very pretty."

"I missed you too. I could totally use a nap. Do you mind?" I yawned and kissed his cheek.

"Not at all." I kissed her back. "Want me to tuck you in?" I smiled mischievously. I really couldn't help myself.

My parents had already headed upstairs to rest. I met his eyes, "Yes please." I headed for the stairs.

Once the door to our room was closed I pulled her to me and hugged her as tight as I thought was safe. I was beaming from one ear to the next just trying to give myself away. "Did you have a good day with your Mom?"

I loved being in his arms. "I did. We talked a lot about you. It was nice just spending time with her. Did you and dad get along okay?"

"You, bet your perfect precious little ass we did. You should go get in bed and I need to go get dinner going. If I stay here with you we are bound to get ourselves into some kind of trouble and dinner won't be cooked. It will be embarrassing having to order pizza instead." I kissed her until I felt stupid and tried to slip out of her hold.

I squeezed him tight and let him slip away as I laid in bed and cuddled tight to his pillow. I was more tired than I thought I was. I closed my eyes and started to drift off.

I went down and prepared dinner and enjoyed the quiet time to myself. I called my Dad and told him that I had asked her father and wound up detailing it all for my mother. I asked them not to discuss it in earshot of Lizzie. I fired up the grill and went up to wake her. "Lizzie, Sweetheart. Heya. You wanna wake up?"

"Hmm. Okay." I opened my eyes and stretched. "Just let me change and I will be right down."

"Change? Baby, you look fine to me." I slipped my arms around her and rubbed her back gently. "You are beautiful. Kev will be here in ten." I kissed her cheek and smiled again. "I love you very much!"

"You always think I look fine. It won't take me long. I love you too." I slipped out of bed and headed towards the bathroom.

I answered the door when Kevin rang the bell. Our greeting was bright and sunny. Man, I missed him. He introduced the young lady he brought with him as Sarah. I let Lizzie introduce her parents. I set about dinner grabbing the trays I had set up out of the fridge and set up outside. "Yo Kev? Got a minute." Kevin joined me outside while Lizzie kept everyone else distracted with a cute story in the house. I told him that I had asked for Lizzie's father's blessing and he about jumped out of his skin in excitement. Lizzie was just bringing the others out back when he hugged me and punched me in the shoulder. I winced and grabbed it.

"Sorry man. Did you hurt yourself?" Holding my shoulder I just grinned like a fool and shook my head. "OH!" He looked at me with both eyes a big as they could get.

Avi had taken Kevin out back while I was talking about some things in the house. Sarah seemed really sweet and I was hoping to learn more about her. Avi was grabbing his shoulder as we entered the backyard. My dad asked Avi if his shoulder was still bothering him. He just brushed it off. I went to hug him so I could whisper in his ear. "Is that where I bit you last night?"
