Interview with @zeinaphobia

What is your username?
A. zeinaphobia
When did you start writing lgbt stories? why do you write them?
A. I started a couple of years ago. I write them because I enjoy reading them.
What can you tell us about the current story you’re working on? Tell us a little about the plot and the characters in it?
A. Under Lock and Key is smut. It’s about Derek, a former jock that really wants to bottom, but because of the way he looks, everyone assumes he’s a top. Cole is a twink that has been watching from the sidelines, but he thinks he’s ready to give Derek what he wants, and maybe a little something extra that he needs.
Why do you think the readers should read your story (mention the factors which will be appealing to the readers)?
A. Uhm.. there’s sex in it. It actually turned out to have more BDSM in it than I expected when I first started it. There will be at least one sequel, where the BDSM aspect will become a bit more serious.
Which is your favorite character, in the current story you are working on?
A. Derek is my favorite. He’s so naive and funny. He’s more immature than the characters I usually write. I swear, every other sentence has the f-word in it.
Which do you like writing more (boyxboy or girlxgirl or both)? Why?
A. I’ve never written girlxgirl. I like boyxboy because I find those couples to be cute and/or sexy.
Can you tell us about your other stories, any two other stories that you are working on?
A. Resonance is a story I started a few years ago (my first boyxboy). On the surface it’s about a boy who finds out that he is a soulmate to a god-like being, but there are other forces at play that have their own agendas, and it might just change the way the universe works. Mr. Santiago is kind of a coming-of-age story in which the main character gets involved with an older man, who helps to shape his views on men, sex, and love.
Do you offer critiques to other users? If you have offered a critique, mention that story?
A. I never have before. Maybe if I become a more established writer, I’ll feel like my opinion is worth offering to others.
Do you write for yourself or for the readers?
A. Both, but I think more than anything, I write because the story needs telling. So I guess you could say that I write for my characters. Yeah, that's cheesy; I don't care.
Describe yourself in ten words.
A. piñata, misanthrope, blue, stubborn, vegetarian, warlock, tired, selfish, musical, hack
