Nora jumped up in front of me. Startled by her sudden appearance I stepped back a bit, then smiled, pleased at her arrival.
“I have never seen you do this before.” Nora laughed sinking in beside me by the wall.  I looked down at her smooth brown hair.
“What?” I asked, a little confused by her remark.
“You had that look.” She mused. Part of me thought she was being satire about it, she was genuine though.
“What look is that.” I asked, scratching my head, not out of thought, but out of itchiness of the scalp.
“You had a far away look.” She said. “I have never seen you have that look before. Like you’re somewhere else. In another world perhaps.” She looked up at me, I could see her deep black pupils expand a little as she looked at me.
“Maybe I’m turning into you.” I shrugged. I hadn’t meant to have a faraway look, that was Nora’s thing, not mine. Maybe I was turning into her.
“It’s alright.” She laughed. “I won’t tell anyone.”
