Bluff sat on his throne, examining the dull white snow around him. His branch fingers tapped on the ice, creating a high pitched sound that echoed within the ice kingdom. He waited, watching the snow, occasionally blow over and lightly topple onto each other. He waited and waited. It was without warning and almost immediately that a dark shade of purple light in the air appeared in front of him. He sat up straight and watched as the light turned to a blue and green, red and yellow.

“Bluff” called, in a hard sound. “What is your wish.”

Bluff cleared his throat “your guardians, I wish for some minions, to help me in my plan.”

“And what plan would that be” the voice boomed.

“I plan to take over the forest, and create it into my Ice Kingdom.” There was a silence, that stretched over for a long period of time.

“Bluff, we guardians have thought, we shall grant you, want you want.” The voice boomed, causing the light to change colour with every word it spoke.

“Thank you” Bluff replied, standing up an bowing before the entity. The wind picked up and almost at if it blew away the light was gone. There was a pile of snow on the ground where the light had hovered over. It started to quiver, and shake violently, and in a quick second, the snow was pushed away leaving a few dazzled and dizzy tiny snowmen.

“What the…” bluff growled in confusion slowly approaching the tiny snow men. They wobbled, some fell over clumsily or onto one another. One of them approached bluff, lifted his twig arm above his head in a salute.

“General Bluff” it squeaked “we are you minions, do you have orders for us.”

Bluff looked at the many snowmen, toppling over each other.

“This cant be right” he mumbled. Bluff couldn’t ask the guardians to come back, they only visited every month. Then it hit him. The guardians didn’t want him to take over the forest. They were laughing at him. They decided to send him these stupid snowmen, so that they could laugh at him.

“I’ll show them” Bluff muttered in revenge.

The mini snowmen lined up as Bluff assessed them.

“Alright, the plan is, we go into the forest, we turn it into snow and ice, and then we have a victory party.” Some of the snowmen nodded, a few wandered off, and a few others seemed to almost be sleeping.

“Got that” Bluff questioned.

The ones that were paying attention, saluted and said “yes.”

“Alright, lets go” Bluff commanded leading the his tiny army out of the Ice kingdom, at least half of them.

The forest, sang with sweet melody of birds and cheerful cries of the it’s creatures. As bluff passed animals he could see them dancing in joy.

“It’s time” he heaved getting weary of the hot weather as it made water drip from his cold body.

“It’s time” called one of the snowmen, it was like a Chinese whispers and suddenly spray of ice was sent to grass. Every snowman was shooting snow and ice from their hands where it appeared like magic. They covered the trees, making them gleam as the sun shone down. They froze possums and deers. Bumble bees in mid flight causing them to fall and smash to bits and pieces on the ground. They travelled through the whole forest sending ice here and snow there. They walked futher and further until the whole of the forest was frozen covered in either snow or ice.

“We did it” the last tiny snowmen said jumping up and down. All the others, had collapsed in there effort, but had made a great contribution to the plan. Bluff looked past his new Ice Kingdom to the desert. All he had to do was wait another month.
