"Oh I'm so sorry honey! I shouldn't have made you look after them for the whole day, I should have come straight home once I realized" My mother gushed as she came rushing from the kitchen and towards me and the twins as I walked through the front door.
"Mum, it's seriously fine I had a great day" I say with a meaningful smile.
"Oh really hmm, what happened?" she asked happily as she picked up Chandler from my arms as I put Julie on the play mat in the lounge room.
"Well Jayden came and sat with me all day and surprisingly, the twins loved him especially Julie" I reply as I head to the kitchen with a wondering smile.
"Oh really Julie did you like your sisters boyfriend?"she asked Julie in baby talk.
"Mum, he isn't my boyfriend..." I state shyly.
"Oh but you wish he was..." she says as she joins me in the kitchen without Chandler.
"Mm maybe..." I say as I look away and head over to the pantry.
"Well, I bet sweetie that he will be your boyfriend soon, just you wait." She says with confidence.
"I don't know mum-" I start "Oh trust me, I know" she buts in.
"OK mum what ever you say" I say as I head up stairs, "I'm going to do some home work" I say as I start up the stairs. "Okay honey, dinner is at 6:30".
"Hey Scott" I call into his open bedroom door. "Hey Delilah" he replies back.
I walk into my room and plop down onto my bed. "Ow" I say as I stand back up. I lift up the covers and find a stack of pens, pencils and markers in a pile on my bed. "arggh" I say as I pick them up and put them into their holders. "Better start with cleaning my room first" I say as I plug my phone into its speaker and put my play-list on shuffle, 'Dangerous' comes on by Before You Exit and I start to take all the items off my bed and start to make it.
Once I have heard around 20 songs and have; Made my bed, Picked up dirty clothing, put away make-up and hair accessories, wiped down my desk top, picked up items off the floor and put them back where they belong, put all books and writing utensils back, sorted out movies and cleaned my closet out. I head into the bathroom to wip down the mirror, put more dirty clothing into the hamper, clean basin, clean bathroom bench top, clean the toilet and hang fresh towels up I am officially finished.
"Whew, finally" I say as I swipe my hand across my forehead. I take a seat on my bed and open up my laptop. I then send Lauren, Karla, Matilda, Riley and Jonathan a group message saying that I have something very important to tell them all at 7:30 tonight, almost instantly I get a reply from 3 out of 5 people.
L- Oh really! what is it!!
D- I cant tell you until everyone is on at 7:30!! Text your boyfriends to tell them!
M- Cant we just know now the boys will see the message...
D- Nah, I will be sending a voice record so you guys can reply that way as well less tying there is A LOT to say.
L- Oh come on .
D- nope just have to wait a few hours but trust me it will be worth it.
K- damn I was hoping you were gonna budge!
D- nope just wait guys.
L- fine
M- okay
K- gee fine fine.
D- thank yous and I have to go, I'm gonna go out and buy some things.
