Grayson's POV

Ethan, my brother, and I were in the park throwing around a football and I totally spaced out and the ball hit me in the head.

"Dude what's going on in your head right now?" Ethan asked me.

"Uhhhm. Nothing. I don't know. I thought I saw someone that I knew." I replied

"Ooh guy or girl?"

"None of your business bro." I picked up the ball and threw it back at him. We were playing for quite a few minutes before jogging back home. My phone buzzed in my pocket and I took it out. It was a reminder that I had to be at my date today. I totally forgot. I didn't really want to go though but Ethan says I need to "get out there and meet people". Whatever. I show Ethan my phone and we start running faster. As soon as I get home I take a shower then put on some nice clothes.

"Bro we gotta go!" Ethan screams at me through my bedroom door. He's giving me a ride to my date since we share a car right now and my car is getting fixed.

"Have fun on your date. Remember to wrap it before you tap it." Ethan says to me as i'm getting out of the car and I reach over to punch him. I swear if he set me up with a weirdo then he's going to fucking pay. I enter the restaurant and ask the desk person for a table for two and then i text the number that Ethan gave me for the girl. I'm a bit early so i'm not expecting her right now, i'm just telling her where I am. About two minutes later there is a girl waving at me and I'm assuming it's her.

"Grayson right? I'm Bailey." She says to me and I nod. She is actually very pretty.

"Hey,Yeah I'm Grayson." Fuck why am I so awkward? She giggled though which I liked. 

*10 Minutes later*

God i'm so bored. I don't think this is working out. I have tried to set up a conversation with this girl but she won't stop laughing. She thinks everything I say is funny and i'm not even making jokes. I was trying to tell her about the time I broke my ankle because I dropped a dumbbell on it. I'm going to call for an Uber and make something up I guess.

"Hey, uh Bella was it?" She turned her attention towards me. "I don't think this is going to work out. I wasn't even interested in dating right now until my brother set this up."

"Oh uh cool." She replied. Okay i guess.

I walk outside to wait for my ride and another girl walks my way, looking down at her phone.

It's her. I start to slowly walk up to her and try to talk to her just for confirmation that it really is her and not my eyes deceiving me. I softly tap her on the shoulder but it's enough to startle her.

"Holy shit you scared me! Don't sneak up on a girl like that!"
