We arrive at my apartment to pick up Skylar and she rushes out the door in heels, skinny jeans, an off the shoulder crop top, and a flannel tied around her waist. "Dressed to impress?" I wink and nudge her side.

"Always bestie and so do you." She gives me a smile and gets in the car. 

"You must be Skylar. I'm Ethan, that's Grayson, and that's-" 

"Cameron. So nice to meet you finally. If you're friends with Maddy, you're friends with me. We will be the best girl BFF trio ever!" She says and cuts Ethan off.

"I'm so excited! Also everyone, call me Sky. Skylar makes me feel like i'm getting in trouble with my parents." She laughs.

I look over to Grayson and catch him staring me up and down and I feel butterflies in my stomach and a rush of heat all through my body. He looks into my eyes and winks and it's so cheesy, I know, but I couldn't stop the smile that rose high on my cheeks. 

Sky: Ew. omg. Get. a. room. Pervs

Me: stfu. u r gonna do the same thing to Ethan and he's gonna do it to u. among other things ;)

As we drive to the movie theater, we tell each other stories of what is going on in our lives and previous things. Ethan keeps subtly flirting at Sky and she just rolls her eyes. I think she's playing hard to get. Grayson and I keep making eye contact and I just want to grab his face and make out with him in the car. God, he has control over my emotions and we've just met again. Maybe I'm just recalling past memories.

"Hey Maddy can you hear me?" I snap my head up and look at Grayson because he was talking to me. 

"Uh, I can now. Sorry, what did you say?" I said and blushed out of embarrassment.

"I said are you okay? You looked a little lost in space there." 

"Yeah I'm fine just reminiscing."

"Ohhh," Grayson said then winked at me. I slapped his arm and flipped him off then started laughing when he started pouting. He's so adorable like a little puppy.

"Alright you two stop your lover's quarrel, we're here," Ethan said and smirked. I huffed and got out of the car. The movie we are seeing is Jurassic World: The Fallen Kingdom and after I watched the trailer I thought it was cool but a little scary so I decided to sit next to Grayson in case I get scared.

*During the movie*

"Maddy stop crying. You're such a pussy." Sky told me. 

"But the volcano is exploding and they leave the poor dinosaur on the island and it was crying for help in desperation." I sobbed and put my head on Gray's shoulder and he put his arm around me. 

Around the end of the movie, I start falling asleep in Grayson's arms and I force myself to stay awake. I really don't like the end of the movie because it's scary and I whimpered at some of the parts in the end. Everyone keeps teasing me about being a wimp but they have a little girl in this movie filled with dinosaurs and it gets dangerous for her.
