"Why are we doing this again?" Ravus asks, bored.

"For fun, of course!" Luna replies as if the answer is obvious, a spring to her and Stella's steps.

For fun, my butt, Ravus thinks, grumbling to himself in a very unprincely manner as the three of them walk down the forest path.

Yesterday, Mother told them about the "treasure" she and father buried in the forest when they were children as a bedtime story. Upon hearing about it, the girls wanted to find it, and this morning Mother gave them the hand-made map and told Ravus to accompany them to the place.

So here he was, with Luna and Stella on a silly treasure hunt, instead of with a book and his favorite tea in his room back at the Manor. Sometimes he wished that his sisters weren't so active.

The rest of the path was spent in silence as they followed the map. Though it's been years, the forest didn't change much and it was easy to follow the directions. Not to mention the weather was nice today, so that was a plus.

"I found the X!" Stella called excitedly from ahead, snapping the oldest Nox Fleuret from his musings.

Well, it looks like they found the spot.

And as they dug the treasure out with the shovel they brought with them and learned about their parents and what they liked in their youth through things they hidden in the buried box, Ravus thought to himself this idea of the treasure hunt wasn't bad.

At all.
