Not wanting to lose her sister again, Maya thinks of a reckless plan; even though it can cost her life and not be able to see her loved ones again. Maya leaves the party letting her friends know that she's tired and wants to take a nap. After receiving her goodnight hugs and kisses from all her friends, Maya goes back to the prep and goes to her room where she makes the most drastic decision.

Maya writes a letter to her sisters, explaining what she's going to do and asks them not to look for her; she'll try her best to come back. After doing the letter, Maya goes to Mal's room and gets her new Isle of the Lost outfit.

After returning to her own room, Maya lays her sister's jacket on her bed and goes to her mirror. After staring at her reflection and takes a deep breath as she began chanting a magical spell that makes her hair longer..........similar to her sister Mal's.
