Chapter 26 Directioner or savior?

Third person POV:
As they were driving to the airport the car driver looked to Max for a quick second but in that second he didn't notice the grey jeep in front of them stop out of nowhere. When the driver looked back to the roads there wasn't enough time to stop or slow down. "Watch out!" Max yelled out but too late the car crashed into the jeep causing airbags to go off and Demi is knocked out from the hit to her head and Mackenzie is barely awake, trapped in her seat belt pulling in every way to get out. She looks over at Demi. "Demi? Oh my god Demi wake up please!" She's terrified she starts to get exhausted
Max looks back at her then looks to the front and grabs his phone and dials the emergency number but when Max looked up he saw the men of One Direction getting out of the jeep without a scratch on them walking towards the car. As they approached the car Max locked the doors then checked the driver to see if he had a pulse. Unfortunately he did not soon after Max looked back at Mackenzie "I'm sorry I couldn't get you-" Max then passes out and Mackenzie looks out the front window to see The 1D men smirking at her. She shakes her head over and over again and starts screaming as they walk to all the doors. She tries to calm down and looks around although her seat belt is locked in place she looks around in the car desperately and she sees and emergency tool box she reaches for it and finds a seatbelt cutter and cuts her seatbelt and breaks out of it. Once out of her seatbelt she quickly leaves a note on Demi's phone and then opens the door as hard as she can hitting Louis with it causing him to fall to the ground and takes off running with the other guys running after her. Knowing she won't get far but would rather die trying then not try at all. As she's running.

She turns at least 5 times before she looks back and notices they're gone then walks into a gas station and walks up to the counter.

"Hi, how can I help you today?" The cashier says to her

"I-I w-was in a car crash I need you to call the police please I'm begging you" the lady nods and dials the three numbers she tells them and then looks up

"Love was anyone hurt in the accident?" She asks and Mackenzie nods her head

"Yes Demi Lovato, her bodyguard, and I think the driver might be dead so please hurry" after the cashier tells the officer she hangs up the phone.

"One more thing ma'am do you have anywhere I could hide I have been kidnapped for the last 6 months and you helping me is my only chance of getting away from them I will do anything plea-" as she was about to finish her sentence her heart started to race even faster than before. She looked outside and saw the boys coming towards the door.

The lady must have notice Mackenzie getting scared and nodded her head quickly
"We have a safe room follow me" she pulled Mackenzie to the back and told some guy to handle the front counter.

They walked up some stairs and into a room inside of a room with a hidden door that was hard for Mackenzie to see where it even came from. "Stay in here you'll be safe but don't say anything or else they will find you it's not soundproof" the young girl nodded and sat on the small mattress in the room as the women left and went downstairs.

Once back downstairs she walked to the front counter again. "Go ahead Joe thanks again I'm sorry had to handle something with an old customer" she say and he smiles

"No problem Lucy" he goes back to his desk and sits down

"Hello sweets, can you check out these items for us love?" Liam asks and she looks up and almost faints at the sight in front of her. She was a huge directioner but she nodded quickly and started checking out the items. Duct tape, rope, matches, black trash bags, and sleep aid pills. She shakes it off not thinking anything of it. "The total is £45.87 please" she says and they can tell she is nervous.

"Love I'm guessing you know who we are, right?" She nods her head and they all look at each other.

"Could we ask you something" she nods once again not trusting her words at the moment.

"Do you own this gas station?" Zayn asks
"No my parents do" Lucy replies
"How old are you?" Zayn asks again
"19"
"What is your name sweetie?"
"Uhm it's umm Leigha" she lied they could tell but continued on.
"Are your parents here right now?" As Zayn is asking questions Harry starts to look around the counter for Lucy's phone or the landline
"No just Joe my brother" she answers
"When is his shift over?" Zayn continues
"Wait I'm sorry why do you need to know all of this?" Lucy asks getting a little suspicious but they ignore her question and move on to the next after Niall whispers in Zayn's ear that Joe left for the day after being paid £3,000 and he had no idea who they were.
"How often do you work here?" Zayn continues
"Twice a week or so when my parents can't come in" she slowly trying not to gain any more attention moves her hand over toward her cell phone. Harry watches her hand intently and Zayn goes on
"How long have you been a fan of ours?" He asks changing the topic. She smiles proudly and says "since the x-factor"
"Really? That's impressive!" He smiles at her his famous smile and she smiles and nods moving her hand away from the phone.
"How would you like if I gave you tickets to all of our next shows with free hotel rooms and a privet jet to get from place to place if you help us out with our next question?" Her eyes widened with excitement while Mackenzie is silently screaming at her to not give into their bribes.
"Okay!!! Anything!! I'll do anything" she squeals in excitement. They all smirk
"Okay awesome! I will send a message to our manager about you right now" Zayn takes out his phone and starts typing away
"I'm sorry Babe what was your name again I'm blanking" he lies
"Lucy. It's Lucy" she smiles and they all look up at her since the platform of the counter was a bit higher than them.
"Lucy? I thought your name was Leigha?" Niall asks and Louis walks behind the counter but Lucy shuts and locks the door before he can get in.
"I g-go by Leigha to strangers and Lucy by my friends and family." She lied once again and they could tell.
"I don't like being lied to love, what is your real name or I cannot give you everything I promised." Zayn says
"Okay fine it's Lucy Towns" Zayn nods and finishes typing out his message. Putting his phone back into his pocket. Lucy then looks at them in the eyes. "What was your last question?" She asks
Harry pulls a picture out of his pocket of Mackenzie and shows it to her "have you seen this girl?"
"May I see it closer?" Harry was hoping she'd ask that. He stood up on the step in-front of the counter. Lucy looks at the picture and intently then looks over to the camera feeds. One in particular. The safe room. Then she looks back at Harry and shakes her head No. "sorry never seen her"
Harry looks into her eyes and she stares right back into his emerald green eyes with some sudden confidence.
"Hmm that's a shame, she's a lovely girl and she ran away from her family in the US and we're just trying to help them find her we best be going thanks anyways love see you soon!" Harry says and they walk out of the gas station and to Harry's car all but Louis of course he is still inside messing with the cameras to go on a loops while he is doing that Harry pulls out an iPhone with a sparkly purple case and unlocks it then searchers through Lucy's phone.

After Lucy thinks they all left she keeps the door locked and uses a phone under the counter hoping Mackenzie will see the flashing light. Once Mackenzie picks up the phone Lucy talks quietly and tells her everything but to stay up there just in case. Mackenzie thanks her and tells her to be safe and not trust anything they say even though it will be hard you can't even trust your idols.

Louis successfully puts the cameras on loop other than the one pointed directly at her. As Louis is about to exit out of the camera feed he notices a hidden camera. Letting his curiosity get the best of him he clicks on it to find Mackenzie in a small room pacing back and forth clearly nervous.
