Chapter 6: Mark
"What do you think you won? I'm talking to you through a Cage." Dean reminded him.
"Ever since I first saw you I knew I wanted to help make you into one of my Knights. I finally got my wish."
"I killed Abbadon."
"She was one of my too happy ones. Do you think I'd let her become queen?"
"You never stopped Crowley."
"Ture. I'm happy she's dead. I knew I didn't ahve to presonally." Lucifer caught Dean's face. "I don't think I'm going to see you fail me."
"I'm not your bitch." Dean replied, defensively.
"Whatever helps you sleep at night. Oh wait. You don't." Lucifer smiled and then snapped his fingers.
"Dean?"
Dean opened his eyes. It took him a few seconds to realize where he was. Lucifer teleported him inside the Bunker. Sam looked at him, relieved.
"That is why I don't want people summoning me." Dean finally said.
"Who summoned you?" Sam asked.
"I don't know how he did it, I'm not sure if it was really him..."
"He teleported a demon into a demon-proof building. I thought higher up angels could do that." Sam paused, seeing Dean's face. "Which one?"
"I don't know if I was really talking to him..."
"To who?"
"Lucifer."
"Lucifer?" Sam tried not to think of the time Lucifer had possessed him. He was the one who accidentally set Lucifer free from The Cage and the one who threw him back in, along with himself. Sam tried to shake the thoughts from his mind.
"I still don't know if it was really him."
"Well what did he say?"
"He wanted to let me know that I'm the best or whatever." Dean paused to look up. His eyes flicked black and turned hazel again. "Damn it, Cas."
"Hello, Dean." Castiel said. He seemed like he couldn't look away from Dean's face. Dean remembered he was fully demon again and Cas could see his true face.
"Cas, you don't look very good." Dean said.
"It's my grace. I'll live."
"No you won't." Dean snapped.
"Can't you see yourself?" Castiel asked, shakily. He cupped Dean's face. "You couldn't stop yourself, right?"
"Cas. I didn't know." Dean replied.
"We have to turn you back fully human. Soon." Castiel said.
"I know." Dean replied.
"Damn it, Dean!" Castiel shouted angrily. He lowered his voice. "You were so close to being human."
"I still love you."
"I just want to see you fully human again before... I... you know."
"Oh my God." Sam whispered to himself.
"I have to go." Castiel announced.
"I'll go with you." Dean said immediately.
"No, Dean. I have to go alone."
"Don't you do anything stupid." Dean warned.
"Alright." Castiel replied. His wing beats echoed in the room as he disappeared.
