I'm obsessed with it!
I tried gradients for the first two. I really like the yellowish purple gradient but the anime without pencil or line art attempts were bad.
I remember this one time in 2014 (otherwise known as the dark ages of my bad art) I was painting a gradient for the background of a gold fish at art camp and the teacher said, "That background looks really good! It's a gradient."
So apparently I was good for something in 2014. It's hard to believe that I actually created good art back then.
Maybe the teacher just felt sorry for me. Yep, she was sorry for me.
Well, I went on a tangent there.
Time to go on a tangent about tangents! So earlier today I was sitting with friend and she talked about the nickname of my spidery name, Spin. Then I added a random hypothetical, "What if all the people on the group chat were a playing a virtual beyblade game? And when I was winning, they would say, 'Spin, Spin!' to cheer me on. That would sound really weird."
The friend looked utterly confused, looking down at her phone then at me again, "Are you okay?" She asked, "Is something wrong?"
I mumbled, "I've gone too deep into a tangent again..."
Tangents are also so much harder to remember than sines and cosines.
Back to play rehearsal.... I mean watercolor. (I couldn't resist). This is way too long. I'm going right now.
