Chapter 7 --Finally, A Date...

So, a little bit (or maybe so much) late. Sorry if this one doesnt have too many description or anything cause, I'm way too busy and I just fit the making of this chapter in my sched. :D

I almost didn’t come to school the next day out of fear that I would be embarrassed in my date with Kyle but I decided to go anyway. When I came to school, I was surprised to see that Cassie was already there, I was used to being the first one, but there she is, waiting impatiently.

When she saw me, she immediately went to me and observed me from head to toe.

“Umm…What’s wrong?” I asked cautiously.

“I was just checking if you look okay.” She explained.

This wasn’t her usual routine, usually she would jibe the way I look everyday but, today’s really different.

“For what?” I asked.

“Well, Let’s just say, you might be just a little embarrassed later.” She said.

“Oh, I’m going to be embarrass—Wait…what??” I choked, my voice an octave higher than usual.

“Hey relax; it’s just a minor one.” She said but she sounded like she’s trying to lessen the description of what going to happen.

“You bloody rat! Tell me this moment or I’ll kill you! I’ve had enough of embarrassments for goodness’ sake!” I barked.

I seriously don’t know why I suddenly got scared; maybe it’s because of yesterday. That little harsh scene has really shaken me up.

Cassie’s eyes widened at my sudden outburst. “I said relax right? Besides Kyle’s the one planning the ‘surprise’ not the bitches.” She stated.

I sighed in relief; I would definitely die if the bitches plan on trying something nasty on me. Thank goodness’ it’s Kyle.

Wait. Kyle? What the hell?

“You said Kyle was planning it, w-what do you mean?” I stammered, suddenly afraid that he would break up with me in front of everyone.

“Gosh! You’re so jumpy today! It’s a ‘sweet’ surprise, he said. He called me last night to make me go here early.” She explained.

“Tell me now Caz, please?” I pleaded.

“Uh-Uh. No can do, sweetie. He’ll kill me if I tell you ahead of time.”

“Aw, come on! I want to know now!”

“You’ll have to wait till lunch mi’lady.”

I tried pleading, pretending to cry, throwing tantrums but nothing can break Cassie’s guard. What the hell is with them? I wanna know now! What if he breaks up with me? What if Violet messes everything up? I don’t know what to think anymore.

After a couple more tries, I finally shut up and settled on sitting in a bench. Cassie and I were talking, I was careful not to touch the effing ‘surprise’ topic, when Kyle walked to us.

Cassie rolled her eyes but I smiled at him.

“Hey babe.” He greeted me.

I blushed before I could murmur ‘Hi’ I seriously am not used to anyone calling me babe.

“So um, later, lunch time, can you go to the gym please? I wanna do something.” He pleaded, holding my hand between his.

The heat of his hand made me dizzy that I could just nod.

He grinned at my agreement then pecked me in my cheek.

“See ya later, babe” He beamed at me then proceeded to his group. They formed a circle, the one they do in football games, as if they were planning something evil.
