Accidentally in Love

I didn’t know what to think. Did my own mentor betray me and try to kill me?  Were the Carrers a part of it all along? Was I lied to by everyone I knew and thought I trusted? What the hell was I thinking, that the games were this happy merry go round were we just kill people and a lone victor survives? Then, I felt a tug on my shirt, Cato.

“Katniss! We got to get out of here! Come on!”

“Cato, what in the hell are you thinking?! Do you really think I am going to trust you or my own mentor? Especially after what is going on now?!”

Then I hear Haymitch scream, “Katniss! I’ll explain it to you on the hovercraft hurry!”

Wait, was Haymitch, sober? He is actually thinking about someone other than himself? And I make the stupid decision to hop on the ladder and we are flown away into the sky. When I finally get into the hover craft, I see Peeta, Rue, Cato, Glimmer, Clove, Cato, and Marvel. I see a few of the other tributes whose names I don’t know, but it seems like we will have to get to know each other. Unless they are going to kill us.

“Haymitch, what were you going to tell me?”

“The Capitol, they saw how you were so rebellious and it was on the TV, everyone saw, well, they saw that you shot it and it hit the Carrers, but the shut it off. Everyone was inspired by you to kill Snow, and many almost have, but he has left Panem and gone to somewhere that many don’t know about, a place called Stracony. It is located in what the pre-war people called Australia. We will be going to a place called Nadzieja. It is located in what the pre-war people called England. We will be going there to plan on how to get to Snow and kill him, he had a force field around the area that he is, but it can’t be up for too long. Otherwise he will run out of power, but it will take a long time, and he needs to go so that a new government can take over what is lost.”

“What about my family?!”

“We will find out when we get to Nadzieja. I believe that they are, Panem didn’t get there soon enough.”

Then, everything went black, I was so confused, I passed out. All I could think of was Prim, Gale, and My mom. What happened to them?

When I woke up, I was in a white room. And when I saw white, I mean everything was white. The walls, the floor, the drawer in the room, the lamp, the light in the lamp, the bed, the sheet, the door, the door knob. I was even wearing white. A white long sleeve shirt, white jeans, and white ballet flats, I think that is what you call them, I am just used to boots. When I got up to go to the door, there was a needle in my arm that came out and an alarm went off. Where am I? Then, a blonde woman can in with a white button up dress that had a collar and white hat on with a red cross and white closed toed one inch heels. The red was the first color I had seen in the last five minutes I was up. That and the blood that was dripping down my arm. She walked me back to the bad and told me to lie own. So that I did. Then, she bandaged my arm and gave me what I thought was a cup of water. It wasn’t, it was some berry flavored and thick liquid.
