Troye Sivan
"What?!" Denise speaks loudly into her mobile, being on the phone with me.
"What's that supposed to mean?" She inquires as I tell her about my message in the mail.
"I-I don't know..." I tremble, "How could he do that?"
I can imagine her frown, "I don't know dear, I'm sorry."
"Do you think maybe you should ask him?" She asks.
I sniffle and wipe my tears, "No- no, I don't want to know."
I walk to my dustbin and throw the letter in, settling down on my kitchen floor and looking down at my fingers.
"He's a waste of my time and heart. He's done enough." I try my best to tell both myself and Denise.
We both know I'm full of it. I miss him so bloody much, my heart breaks over and over for his unworthy arse. I still miss him so damn much...
"Alright, love..." She trails off, "I'll be home in a few. Will you be okay?"
I shrug though she can't see me, "I don't know."
"Honey," She tries, "It will be okay. I will see you soon."
"See you soon," I mumble, hanging up the phone and dropping it in my lap.
I sit alone on the floor until she gets home, her handing me a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates she must have gotten from the sale Target is having after Valentine's day. I thank her and drink my problems away on the floor, not quite ready to get up anytime soon.
"What am I supposed to do?" I whisper, Denise sat across from me in the kitchen.
"Hm?" She asks, brushing her grey hair out of her face.
"He's the only love I know." I admit, though we both already knew.
"Maybe he's the only one I'll ever know."
"I'll get more wine."
