What Space Got Me Into {Voltron OC Backstory}

Chapter 1

Hey guys!! This is my frist story so I hope you enjoy it! I will try to update the best that I can, but you know life happens. Anyways, enjoy the story!

Lee's P.O.V
I walked down the halls of the Galaxy Garrison. Commander Iverson had called me to his office. Honestly I was kinda scared, he never called me up to his office. Most students that got called to his office were in trouble for some reason. 'What did I do?!' I thought as I was nearly at his office door. I finally got to the end of the hall way right at his office door, to be honest I was shaking, I seriously have not a clue of what to do other than open the door. I put my hand on the cold, bitter door knob and opened it. I walked inside, closed the door and turned around to sulute him. He stood up from his seat and suluted back. "Lee welcome, you know of the mission that just occured last week, correct?" He was talking about Kerboros. "Um- yes sir I do" I said as I tensted up because that was the mission where we lost of our best commanders and one of our best Junior Science Officers. (Just so you guys know I had to do some research and Matt was apparently a Junior Science Officer. So just roll with me). "We are sending poilts, techs, and engneers to see if they can find the missing crew.....and your one of the best poilts in your class...so we would like to send you." He said with what seemed like a happy expression, but with him you could never tell. I just stood there in shock I didn't know how to respond. How was I supposed to respond?! I started to stare of into space. "Lee....Lee...LEE" he yelled "huh...OH...I...wouldn't that be a dangerous mission especially if the crew went missing?" I asked. "Well, yes of course, but I believe you could find them. You excell in all your classes especially your fighting classes." He said with a bright expression on his face. "Do I...have time to think about it?" I ask with a look hoping he'd say yes. "The mission is in three days, you would have to let me know by tomorrow." He told me. I sighed and looked up at him because I had been staring at the floor. I know It was disrespectful but I was really scared I didn't know how to respond. "Um...I think I want to sleep on it." I said getting ready to walk out of his office. "Ok Lee, please let me know by tomorrow" he said with a smile. 'He smiled at me. What the heck!?' I thought as I walked out of his office and went back to class.

Time skip

After my last two classes I went to the food room as I called it to get dinner, since I lived at the Garrison. I sat down and noticed Pidge walk over to me with a gloomy expression. He sat down across from me and sighed. "Whats up now Pidge" I asked. He looked at me with the most annoyed expression. "Its just I got pared with these two other guys that I can't stand one barfs all the time when we are in the simulation and the other is just so annoying" he said and put his head on the table. "Oh I'm sorry Pidge, I just got to go on a very dangerous mission to see if I can find the crew from the Kerbours misson" I said because I knew his brother and father where on that mission and I knew it would get him up from his mood. He pulled his head up and looked at me with disbelef. "Wait....WHAT." He screams at me. "Calm down please" I say uncovering my ears. "Sorry...but how did this happen?!" He asked. "Remeber when I got called out of class?" I asked, he was in most of my classes since we were both in advance classes. "Yes..." He said. "It was because Commander Iverson called me to his office and as-" I was suddenly cut off by what I think was one of Pidges friends. "Hey Pid- woah... Hey girl, do you have a map? I'm getting lost in your eyes" the boy says with a smirk. "Excuse me" I look up at him about ready to smack him. Pidge saw tha anger on my face. "Sorry Lee thats just Lance." He said as I turned toward him again. Lance sat down next to him and tryed to say something else but I cut him off by talking to Pidge again. "I'll tell you about it later, I have to go." I said getting up from the table. Suddenly someone grabs my wrist and pulls me towards them. "Oh come on you can't just leave now that I'm here. I didn't even get your name!" It was Lance I swar he was about to get it entill Pidge undid his grasp on me and told Lance to stop. "Thank you Pidge, I'll see you tomorrow." I said and walked away. I hear a "oh come on at least your name" behind me but ignore it and keep walking. I get to my room and fall on the bed with a thud. I was so exhausted from today and I still had homework to do. I got up and went to my desk and soon fell asleep there.

Time skip

I wake up it was a quarter till 6. Crap, I was going go be late for class. But, before class I had to go tell Commander Iverson yes or no to the mission. I still didn't know what to say. I walked down the hallway to get breakfast surprisingly everyone was still there I found Pidge but with Lance and this other guy. "Hey Pidge" I said completely ignoring Lance. "Hey Lee...oh this is Hunk he's a sweet heart I know you'll like him!" He said and Hunk turns around and waves. "Hi I'm Lee!" I said shaking his hand. "Hey gi-" Lance tried to say something before I cut him off. "Stop right there please" I said with anger written all over my face. "I don't have a library card, but do you mind if I check you out" he said with this sly smirk. "Omygosh I asked you to stop please." I said with an annoyed expression. "Sorry but with you I can't stop " he said as I looked at him with almost pure hate. I pulled Pidge to the side and told her I was going to see Commander Iverson about the mission. After that I left and walked to Commander Iversons office. I got to his office and walked inside. I sulted him and he did so back. "Have you made your decision Lee" he said with a slight nervous expression. I don't know why he's nervous I am the one who has to answer. Oh gosh please help anyone. "Yes sir I do" I said even though I still kinda had no idea. He nods at me to continue on and finish my statement. "...Um..."
