As the universal defenders battle with the 28 mega monsters sent by unicron, wrench and Truman take time to consider their places in life.

    "Wrench, what would happen to us if we were to defect from unicron?" "They'd disintegrate us." "Betrayed them?" "Blow us to smithereens on the spot." "How about if it was us three versus the universal defenders, and if she ordered us to attack, we attacked her?" "That would be the perfect way to send the white flag message to the universal defenders, but that would probably get us killed." "Well, whatever we decide to do, it's as sure as heck not going to be stay on unicron's side." They continued to discuss their options.

    The monster Jeremy was battling shot vines at him, wrapping around the omega prime megazord. A wrap that Jeremy was having trouble breaking out of. "These vines are too strong, gotta break into separate parts." The omega prime megazord split apart into its separate parts as if it were transforming to ship mode, freeing it from the vines. "Yes, it worked, time to recombine!" The omega prime megazord recombined. "Now it's time to amp up the playing field, matrix weapons, activate!" The six weapons formed the ring. "Polarity gauntlet and sound cannon, engage!" The polarity gauntlet and the sound cannon activated. "Polarity wrecking ball activate!" The wrecking ball was formed. "Sound cannon, fire!" The sound cannon fired a blast at the wrecking ball charging the ball up. "Sound blast wrecking ball!" The wrecking ball slammed into the monster, dealing some damage. "Yes, now it's time for a new combination, activate omega prime megazord, weapon formation!" The six weapons and the omega prime megazord combined into a more powerful combination. "Omega prime megazord, weapon formation ready!" With the polarity gauntlet on one shoulder, the immobilizer in the over shoulder, the sound cannon and phase shifter attached to its arms, and the star saber and forge of primus in both hands, the omega prime megazord was more powerful then ever before. "Time to finish this thing, iron super drive saber, power up!" The super drive saber charged up. "Omega matrix blast!" All six weapons, combined with the built in weapons of the omega prime megazord blasted the monster into oblivion. "Yes, Jeremy to all universal defenders, monster number one is down." One by one, the monsters began to be destroyed. And Catastra was unhappy about it. "Truman, wrench, come on!" "Where are we going ma'am?" "We're gonna teach those universal pests their final lesson." "Alright, ma'am." Catastra didn't even bat an eye.

    The trio arrived at the center of the capital of waropia, where the rift crystal was using a beam to attract the universal defenders. Who were tracking the beam back at rootcore. "It has to be the rift crystal." "We must destroy that crystal." "Then let's go."

    In space, unicron was drifting closer and closer towards waropia. "At last, I have returned.

The universal defenders charge into their final battle against Catastra, while unicron is mere hours away from waropia. How will it all end? Who will emerge victorious? Find out, as the final hours of the war commence.
