Hey here is another story. I really like the story but I didn't put enough effort into it which I regret. I could rewrite but I don't feel like it so..... here you go.

"MOM! Why can't I come stay with you and Tom. I don't have anywhere to go," I yell into the phone on the side of the streets of New York.

"I love you hon, but you have to make a living for yourself. You've been a child for far too long. Its time to grow up" yelled back my mother from the other end. She hangs up the phone leaving me there yelling "MOM! MOM!" into my blank screen.

I let out a loud grunt and gathered my bags of clothes along with my bass case then headed towards the subway.

I got on, hoping that I can find a friend who will let me crash.

The only thing is that I didn't have any friends. I just graduated my senior year of NYU and throughout those four years, I had not made a single friend. Even my roommate hated me. So I was practically screwed for the night.

I rode down the subway scrolling through my contacts looking for people to ask but I came up dry. After a while I gave up and turned my phone off.

I looked around at the people sitting around me. It was a pretty sterotypical bunch. There was the guy who took up to much space, the man reading a book on how raise kids, the woman sitting there holding her purse and her cassoral, the one that looked like they didn't belong, the homeless one, the noisy kid, etc... However there was this one guy. He sat there strumming his electric fender guitar. He looked so into the music. I stared at how his fingers moved along the frets and the way he picked the strings.

I learned how to play guitar when I was in eight grade, but bass is favorite instrument . I can feel the vibration of the strings with more power.

The guy looked back at me with a brow raised.

"Is there a reason you're staring at me or is it just because," he asks smirking down at me.

"Huh, oh right, sorry, I was just watching you play. You're really good. I play too, but I lean more towards bass," I answer pointing to my bass.

"Oh cool, my band and I are actually looking for bassist. You want to fill that position," he mentions.

"Uh, no, I have to get my life together. It going to shit so far," I explain.

"Come on. At least meet my buddies. Maybe you'll like better than me and will decide to stay."

"How do I know you're not a serial killer that wants to cut my body into pieces and keep them in jars on his bedside table," I ask with a little chuckle.

"You can just trust me when I say I'm not," he assured.

"I just met you, I can't trust you yet," I grinned.

"Fine, then what do you want to know about me," he asked.

We talked for another 10ish minutes until we reached the stop that I had planned to get off at. I was about to get up when sudden dread coursed though my body.

"Okay, fine," I sigh.

"What," he questioned.

"I'll come with you."

We rode in the subway for another 10 minutes until we reached a stop in which he got out and I followed.

It was getting later and the sun was starting to dim. I thought of just coming up with an excuse to leave but just as I was going to speak he spoke first, " It's just a two minute walk."

We walked for what was like exactly two minutes until we reached a pretty normal suburban house. It was a beige and grey, one story house with small pine trees framing the front.

He walked through the already cracked open door. He turned back to instruct me to follow him in. I enter the room and was insisitly crowed with welcoming people.

"Hey I'm Sam," got up from the couch and ran up to be a tall, dark haired boy. He shook my hand and look back at his other friend who was still sitting on the couch. " No way dude," he yelled back to his friend. There was a loud chatter coming from the tv which had on some game. Sam ran back to his friend and forced him to rewind the tv so he could see what happened again.

I walked into the room and followed the band members onto the couch. After the commotion on the tv turned down and they boys seemed to lose interest, they turned it off. Sam's friend looked at me and raised his eyebrow. " You've never been here," he exclaimed.

"Yea, I..uh..," I stuttered

"I'm Loki. Welcome to our lair of noise," he interrupted.

"Thanks," I said hesitantly.

Loki looked back at the front door where my base case was leaning against the wall. "You play?" he asked.

"Yea, the base," I answered.

"Then you can stay," he ordered.

After a hour passed, we had become really close. Loki still gave me weird vibes, but it wasn't enough to worry me. I was asked to play and so I play one of my original songs. They seemed impressed and wanted me in their band.

"I feel like this is going to be really great," I cheered.

"Hell Yea, replied Loki.

This the start of something great. I feel it.

I didn't really know how to end it so I hope that this does it justice. Anyway hope you enjoyed
