Chapter 3

Kissing dimitri made me feel like everything was going to be ok, that no matter what happened I'll always have him but of course I was interrupted.
I have to admit I like the best deals but sometimes I really hate it
'Rose, Answer Me Rose or I'm coming to find you"
I looked at dimitri and sighed
'Lissa I'm a bit busy at the moment what do you want'
'Rose your mom's here'

My heart stopped why the hell was my mother here what the hell did she want.
I looked to dimitri and the look in my eyes terrified him
"Roza, what's wrong"
"My mother, she's here"
I began to breathe heavily and I almost blacked out, until dimitri pulled me into his chest and hugged me
"Calm down, I promise she won't hurt you and I can promise you that I'll be there by your side"
I began to calm down
"Comrade I can't, if I go I'll rip her head off"
He chuckled lightly
"I know that's why I'm coming, considering I'm probably the only person that will be able to stop you"
I slapped his chest playfully and he dried my tears he took my hand as we walked to the gym door, we then let go and put our guardian masks on although nobody could see through them, I knew that dimitri and Lissa could.

We walked to Lissas room and I stopped outside the door took a big breathe in a we walked in.
The first person i noticed was my mother sat on the couch.
"Hey kiz" I turned around and to my amazement Abe was stood by the kitchen door
"Hey Old man" I said throwing my arms around his neck and hugging him
"You know him" my mother asked
"Yes mother I know he's my father, now why are you here"
"To see how my little girl is"
I could feel myself getting angry but that faded when dimitri shifted to the empty spot Besides me and because my hands were behind my back he ran his thumb along my hand.
"That's not why your here so tell me the truth"
"Fine, my charge is here doing business with Kirova"
"Are you serious, that's what it takes you to come here and see me after all this time"
"Rose you know how much my work means to me" she said
"And what about me. I was five years old when you dumped me here and all I wanted was my mother. Where were you everytime I had a nightmare or everytime I was in the clinc"
"Hathaway calm down" dimitri said looking at me but I couldn't
"There's no use she won't she's always been hot headed" my mother said
"And how would you know" I shouted
Everyone had backed away from us now but dimitri.
"Belikov why are you stood so close to my daughter"
"To protect you ma'am"
"I don't need protecting let alone from my own daughter" she said stepping forward
"I'd stay there if I were you" he said
"Don't tell me what to do"
"I'd listen to him mother because right now he's the only thing stopping me from coming over there and ripping your head off and trust me I can do it"
She scoffed and I was about to charge for her when dimitri stood in front of me
"Guardian Hathaway stand down" he said
"My daughter is no guardian"
"That's where your wrong mother, I was at the attack on the palace of was made a guardian after I helped defeat the stragoi"
"That's impossible"
"No its not, especially when my aunt is the Queen, and mother how many marks do you have now"
"12" she said showing them
I turned around and lifted my hair up showing my battle star.
"I guess this proves I'm better off without you, now if you step foot onto these premises again I will have you thrown off and your guardian title removed"
"You can't do that" she was right but she didn't have to know that
"You don't know that" I said smiling

I heard all the horrible names lissa was calling her but I hadn't realised how angry I was until the room began to go dark and I closed my eyes and felt myself rushing away
By now my mother had left
"Rose are you alright" my father asked
I clenched my fists and opened my eyes that had turned red, like stragoi red.
"Someone needs to get Adrian now" I shouted

Christian ran out and Abe sat me as I began to get angrier and angrier, dimitri and Rose just started at me not knowing what was happening, I didn't know what was happening.
"Rose" Adrian shouted as he ran in he grabbed my hand and looked at my  arura
"Someone's trying to get into her head she's trying to fight it" Adrian said
"Can you find them" Abe said
"I can try" he said looking at me again.
"Third floor of the students quarters someone called Jesse"

Lissa looked to dimitri who ran out within seconds I was normal again
"Where the hell is he" I shouted as dimitri walked in dragging Jesse behind him
"Belikov get off me" he shouted until he was thrown at my feet
"Hathaway long time no see"
"It's guardian Hathaway now" I said holding up my hair showing my promise mark
"Oh shit" he said
But then my phone rang.
"Aunt tatiana I'm fine but the person who did it is here with me I just need your permission to do what I need to"
After another few minutes I hung up.

"What are you going to do to me" he whispered.
I dragged Him by the collar all the way Kirovas office as usual I just stormed in and threw him to the ground
"He gets expelled now"
"Guardian Hathaway may I ask why"
"Because Jesse just tried killing me using his powers and I was told I can do anything with him and if he doesn't get expelled your going to have to explain to people how one of your students went missing and hasn't been seen for years"

I stormed out and headed straight for the gym where I threw stuff around and then threw something at the door as Dimitri walked in but luckily he ducked
"Sorry"
He smiled and I sat down and we talked for a bit which calmed me down and he knew that and I was glad he was there. But this is just the start of a complicated year.
