I realized there are lots of Armys reading this book. After I finished this fic, I'm planning to write a Jikook fanfic, would you guys read?
I think my writing lacks a lot of basics and enthusiasm so I'm worried if you guys might not like it.

I finally got in contact with the lawyer and was able to track where Xukun was supposed to meet Xiao Tong. They were supposed to meet at an old apartment. When I got there, no one was there. It was so silent that I could hear myself breathe. But it was until I heard someone cough.
Behind a old chunk of furniture was Xukun lying down, blood splattered all over him. "Oh my god." I quickly grabbed him by the neck and rested him on my arms.
"I'll get the ambulance." I said but he grabbed my hands, trying to stop me. "D-don't, it'll attract attention. I'm fine." He wiped his own blood off his mouth and smiled.
"You stupid! You pushed me away because you wanted to keep me out of danger, didn't you? You're so stupid." I wiped off the sweat that was rolling down on his pale face.
"I love you, it's my duty to protect you." He cupped my face and grinned. "And it's the same with me! I'm supposed to protect you too. Cmon, I'll get you to a nearby clinic." I lifted him up in my arms.

Today was finally the term day. Xukun doesn't have to attend the court but he insisted on seeing her mother being put into jail. It might sound cruel but she deserves it.
Ever since the day he got hit, Xiao Tong stayed with one of the production team jie jie, who's also the jie jie who lended phone to Nong Nong. She also helped us film the whole confessing video.
"Where's she?" Xukun impatiently asked while he waited at the lobby. "Jie jie said she will bring her soon." I smiled.
A few moments later, Xiao Tong showed up with a formal attire. "Let's go." He said. But we were all stopped when someone yelled her name. "Xiao Tong!" That person yelled.
We all turned around to see Zhu Zhengting. She widened her eyes to see him and quickly hid herself behind Xukun. "Oh my god, is it really you? What are you doing here?" He asked while dragging her hands to pull her closer.
"We don't have time for this." Xukun coldly groaned. "I-I'm sorry." Xiao Tong mumbled quietly and pushed Zhengting away but I could tell how much she was hurt. How much Zhengting was hurt... being pushed away by someone you love without a reason.
"Xiao Kun, give them a minute. But be quick." I told her. She nodded and gave me a slight grin. "Fine. Ten minutes." Xukun huffed and walked away.
Flashback
"You'll be fine with this jie jie? She'll be looking after you till the term day and also the one filming your confession." I said. I had to bring her back to dorm because outside was so unsafe and the only option was this jie jie.
"No problem. And thank you, Ziyi ge." She smiled. "And one more thing," I stopped her before she could leave. "About Zhengting, doesn't he deserve the truth when all of this is over?" I asked.
She frowned and looked down, unable to respond. "You love him. Don't you?" I questioned. "I-I do. But he wouldn't like someone like me." She pouted.
"He does care, I can assure you that. Promise me you'll talk to him when everything's over." I asked. "O-okay."
"Good, now I'll have to go to practice. Will you be fine alone with jie jie?" I asked. "Yes. And Ziyi ge, this," she pulled out a bunch of letters out of her bag.
"When I was at the apartment, I wrote all this to you, Xukun ge, and Zhengting. In case anything-"
"Nothing will happen to you. Although I hate you for leaving Xukun earlier and everything you did in the past but as a person, you don't deserve to suffer more than you did already." I said.
"But in case, please keep it." She pushed the letters. I let out a sigh and took it. "One last thing, don't mistaken me as being nice to you because I'm not. This is all for Xiao Kun." I warned. She just nodded.
Flashback end
Exactly after ten minutes, she came out with a bright smile on her. It probably went well. I didn't like her from the very start, especially the face she makes when she's crying to about to cry.
But her life is pathetic at the same time. She didn't really choose to be born this way. But she had a choice of choosing what type of person she wanted to be and it was the cause of all this.
---
The car stopped in front of the court as we three hopped out of the taxi. I could tell Xukun's heart was beating so fast and how nervous he was.
"I'll get you something to drink over the convenience store." I asked. Xukun gave me a little smile and nodded. "It's okay, I'll go get it. You guys wait." Xiao Tong offered.
"Don't run away." Xukun rolled his eyes. I softly hit his arm. "You're gonna make her run away at this rate." I hissed.
A few minutes later she came back with a couple of drinks in her hands. She waved at us from the other side of the road. As the crossing signals turned green, she crossed the street towards us until a black car rushed to her direction, hitting her.
The drinks in her hands flew into the air along with her fragile body. "Xiao Tong!" I yelled. Her bloody body fell onto the ground with force as the car drove off.
---
Oh my god. Now without her and only the confession video in their hands, will Xukun be able to defeat his mother?
Stay tuned for the next chapter xxx
