Ai x Blind! Syo

A/N- Hiya everyone! I am back with a new chapter, one shot! So, I am going to put up an Ai x Reiji one shot series up next. So, if you don't ship Syo and Ai and just happened to come across this for some reason, then 1. I don't know why you clicked and 2. If you rather ship Reiji and Ai together, than go to that one. Once I put it up, I will put a link at the bottom of this chapter. I know I have a lot of other books to update, but I feel I should be equal to everyone and put up different ships, so there isn't any ship wars in the comments. This idea was inspired by one of my favorite stories on wattpad. It won't be the same, but the fact that Syo is blind was someone else's idea, so the credit goes to them!

Ever since the 'accident' happened, a certain chibi boy was never the same. He became more distant from his friends, and he would not leave his room. Shinning is on the verge of dismissing him of his idol duties, but what could he do? He was a little depressed over what happened to him. No one was beside him, he pushed them all away, even Natsuki who was so worried about his best friend, but he gave up after a while.

Flashback

It was on a rainy day, the day were Syo thought that nothing went his way. All his friends were ignoring him for some reason that he didn't know. He went up and talked to them, but they would look at him nervously, then come up with an excuse and walk away. He wondered what he did for them to hate him. The only person talking to him was his best friend, but Natsuki had no information on why their friends and fellow idol members were ignoring him. He knew Syo didn't do anything, but it made him wonder. What Syo didn't know was, that Ai was getting ready to confess his feelings to him. Everyone was in on it and that had an idea, but it was going terribly wrong. They didn't want Syo to fill like they hated him.

"Why...why..." Syo muttered as he kept walking. He had went out earlier to relieve some stress, but it started raining, so he was on his way back to the master course. However, what he didn't expect...was a voice to call out to him.

"Syo move!!"

CRASH

It was too late. Syo felt pain as something collided with him full force. Hitting the ground, his vision was going black with little time. However, he saw a familiar blurry figure run to him and gently pick him up, to hold him in his arms. He felt drops on his face, but they were different then before. They felt warm, not like the cold rain, was someone...crying. He was tuning in and out, hearing bits and peaces of someone talk.

"Please Syo...on't lea...ve....m..." He couldn't hear clearly, so he had fainted instead, unknown of the world around him. What was happening to him, he would not know at the moment.

(Time skip to the hospital)

Syo was in there, in that white room all by himself as Ai waited outside for the results. 'Please don't die, please don't die...' The Cyan haired male kept repeating in his head. He never wanted any of this, it was all his fault. He has noticed that Syo has felt down that day, and he could guess why. He wanted to confess his feelings so bad to the male, but no, it didn't end up well. He only put the person he loves life in danger of dying.

A doctor walked out of the room. "Mr. Mikaze, he is alive, but...something isn't right.." The doctor hesitated, but he told him. Ai showed concern, which was rare for him to ever do.

"What do you mean?" He tried to ask calmly, but his voice was shaking a bit. He was scared, what was wrong with his beloved chibi?

"You'll see. You have permission to go in." Ai immediately rushed in when that was said. He needed to know, he needed to know what was wrong. Was it amnesia? Oh god, if Syo forgets who he is, then that will break him the most. If anything, he better not die, even if he is alive right now, there is always that chance.

"Syo!" Ai hurried to his side. The other in the room looked up, hearing the voice. Wires were attached to him to keep in stable and there were bandages around his head, however, even with this, Syo showed him a saddened smile. He knew, he knew what was wrong with him, and it depressed him so much.

"Ai, I am sorry. I was stupid and not paying attention. I got hit by that car...and I let it happen to me..."

"Don't say that. You would never want to get hit by a car, never, it was not your fault."

"...I can't say I completely didn't try. I thought that everyone hated me, that I did something wrong. Why was everyone ignoring me? It..it made me stop to think...and I didn't attempt to move out of the way in time."

"Syo...this...t-this is all my fault. I made them ignore you...I...I had a plan that I wanted to do, but it backfired.." Syo paused at this. What did Ai mean about it was his fault. No! He would never let Ai take the fall for his own stupidity. He was the one who didn't move, he was the one that thought it would be good to die! Ai had nothing to do with that!

"Ai, it's not your fault! I was the one being stupid and now I am the one paying for it, not you, nor anyone else!"

"...What do you mean by paying?"

"Tell me what your plan was first and I will say." Ai blushed when Syo said this. This was not the time for this, but he was feeling so embarrassed!

"I..I was planning on..confessing to you..I wanted to say that I..that I love you." Ai turns away from the male, only to turn back when Syo spoke up once more.

"...As much as I would love to return your feelings, I can't. Because after this, you will change your mind about loving me."

"What...why would I?"

"Ai....I'm blind."

(End of flashback)

Yep, that accident caused Syo to lose his sight. He didn't know if it was permanent or not and the doctor didn't know anything either. But Syo knew one thing. He could never go back to his old life ever again.
